Britney Spears Claims She Misses Her ‘Absolutely Beautiful’ Family

It looks like Britney Spears is missing her family now that a judge has signed off on her divorce from Sam Asghari. The former couple, who tied the knot in June 2022, will be declared legally single as of December 2, 2024 – the pop star's 43rd birthday.

However, the "Special Ops: Lioness" actor was not mentioned in the Princess of Pop's latest Instagram post, which featured her sharing a photo of her mother and other family members sitting around a kiddie table.

Britney Spears Says She Still Loves Her Family: 'We All Have Issues'

On Wednesday afternoon, the "Toxic" singer took to Instagram to reflect on the relationship that she has with her family. "We all have issues with our family but dear God you can't help how much you love them. I'm not in this picture but I sure as hell feel like I am. On a side note … If you know me, I've always ended up at this kids table at every function I've ever been to !!! The most elite expensive dinners and I always find myself just like this sitting in the back with the kids !!!"

"Anyways … I'm posting this pic because my family is absolutely beautiful and I miss them. So not to sound righteous but in a world of chaos and confusion the trickery of the devil is to mislead you and humiliate you … and make you think you're less than !!!" she continued. "I wanted to share this pic because although I'm not in it … I sure as hell felt as though I was !!! Pssss swipe to see !!!"

Even though Britney had some choice words for her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, in a recent Instagram Story that was quickly deleted, Jamie Lynn opened up on what it was like being the younger sister to the pop star when she appeared on "I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!"

"Anything my sister did I always thought was the best," she explained in comments transcribed by People magazine. "When it came to my sister, even if I felt anything, if anyone said anything I was ready to go. I was like, 'Don't talk about my sister, she's the best.'"

Jamie Lynn Said She Supported Britney Spears After Her Conservatorship

There have been many allegations about Jamie Lynn and the role that she played in Britney's conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021. Two months after her conservatorship ended, Jamie Lynn released a statement saying, "I love and I support my sister, and I always will. It's very clear that this has been a painful process, and I have to respect however she works through that."

She went on to say, "This is a complicated situation," adding, "It gets to a certain point where you can't help someone who doesn't want you to."

However, Britney had some choice words for her sister in her 2023 memoir, "The Woman In Me," declaring that "[Jamie Lynn] knew I was reaching out to her for help and that she was dogging me. I felt like she should have taken my side."

Will Britney and Jamie Lynn Put The Past Behind Them?

MEGA

Although Jamie Lynn didn't attend Britney's 42nd birthday party along her mother and brother, a source told the U.S. Sun that the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer is open to repairing her relationship with her younger sister after watching her compete on the British reality show.

"Britney was supportive of her sis going into the jungle and maintained interest while Jamie Lynn was in Oz. A lot of water has passed under that bridge — and given it is Christmas, Britney is keen to try and put some of their past issues to bed," the source said at the time.

"On the few occasions when Jamie Lynn spoke about Britney in Australia, it was all positive. They are sisters at the end of the day, and even though they've had their fair share of run-ins, it is time to see if they can finally put the past behind them," the insider continued. "Britney spent time with her mum in the summer and now she'd like to see if she could do the same with Jamie Lynn. It's baby steps but it all seems positive."
