Britney Spears' lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, is no longer representing the pop star after bringing her conservatorship case to a close, Page Six can confirm.

"Our goal together was always to suspend her father and restore her fundamental rights and civil liberties, and I will always be extremely proud of our work together," the powerhouse litigator tells us.

The news comes after Spears, 42, reached a settlement with her estranged father, Jamie Spears, in April that allowed the pair to end their lengthy legal battle without going to trial.

"As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter," Rosengart said in a statement at the time.

Thirteen years into her controversial conservatorship, Britney replaced her court-appointed lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham III, with Rosengart in July 2021 after speaking out about her "abusive" situation for the first time publicly.

The former federal prosecutor helped free the "Toxic" singer from her conservatorship within a matter of months, first by having Jamie, 71, suspended from controlling his daughter's personal and financial affairs in September 2021 and then by getting the arrangement terminated altogether that November.

In the months and years that followed, Rosengart was instrumental in securing a number of lucrative deals for Britney, most notably her memoir, "The Woman in Me," which hit stores in October 2023 and instantly became a New York Times bestseller.

The Grammy winner candidly wrote in the book that the legal eagle was the first person to inform her about the Los Angeles court system granting her long-awaited freedom.

"Even though it was his strategy that had gotten us the victory, he told me that I deserved the credit for what had happened," she recalled.

The former federal prosecutor also worked on Britney's divorce from Sam Asghari. Sam Asghari/Instagram The Grammy winner has said Rosengart told her she "helped other people in unfair conservatorships." AP

"He said that by giving my testimony, I'd freed myself and probably also helped other people in unfair conservatorships. After having my father take credit for everything I did for so long, it meant everything to have this man tell me that I'd made the difference in my own life."

More recently, Rosengart worked closely with another high-powered attorney, Laura Wasser, to settle Britney's divorce from her third husband, Sam Asghari.

The former couple had been together since 2016 but married for only a year.

Britney Spears' relationship with sons Sean and Jayden sees progress

This update comes after Britney consented to her sons' relocation to Hawaii with their father and his wife last year.

Britney Spears' relationship with her sons, Sean and Jayden, is showing signs of progress, according to her ex-husband Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on June 25, Kaplan shared that while the reconciliation process is ongoing, there have been positive developments.

"The good thing is that the boys saw their mom was doing well and have a desire to speak with her," Kaplan stated, adding that there has been "telephonic communication" between Britney and her sons.

This update comes after Britney consented to her sons' relocation to Hawaii with their father and his wife last year. Despite the distance, the boys have expressed a desire to reconnect with their mother, indicating a step in the right direction for their relationship.

Britney, who recently settled her divorce from Sam Asghari, rarely speaks publicly about her sons but has expressed her love and affection for them in the past. As the reconciliation process continues, it is hoped that the bond between Britney and her sons will continue to strengthen.

Britney Spears is taking a new step in her motherhood journey.

Her ex Kevin Federline shared an update on the "Toxic" singer's relationship with their sons Sean, 18, and Jayden, 17, after she granted permission for the teens to move to Hawaii with him last year.

So, where does Britney stand with Sean and Jayden?

"Reconciliations and the reunification of relationships are difficult and take time," Kevin's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told Entertainment Tonight on June 25. "They are sometimes complicated and always a lengthy process. The process has not really commenced, let alone [been] completed."

He went on to note a positive way their bond has changed over the last year.

"The good thing is that the boys saw their mom was doing well and have a desire to speak with her," the lawyer continued. "There has been some telephonic communication between Britney and her sons, and we think that is a step in the right direction."

Britney Spears claps back at ‘abusive’ paparazzi who ‘betrayed’ her

Britney Spears was recently hospitalised for a foot injury

Britney Spears is setting the record straight about some paparazzi photographs of her that have been circulating online.

On Monday, June 24, the Princess of Pop, 42, was photographed landing at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, returning from her recent trip to Mexico. As she walked to her car in a coral pink mini dress, cameras flashed away.

Spears reacted to the photographs – which cast her in a bad light – the very next day, sharing an Instagram video of her modeling the same dress a night before the photographs were snapped.

"Look I get it I know my body is not perfect but I also know I don't have cellulite on my legs the way the paps betray me !!! I also know the way the paps shoot me in public when I go out I look like a different person !!! She wrote in the caption.

As the Toxic hitmaker continued her rant, she called out the "abusive" paps and confessed to feeling like "one of the most bullied people in the world."

The Grammy-winner further explained that with her current weight, shedding more pounds after those unfortunate pictures would put her "in the hospital."

"It's a sticky conversation because in a world of where vanity rules not one person would believe me !!! Not one person will believe me because they prefer the negativity !!!" she concluded.

Britney Spears’ attorney says he was honoured to protect her, and moves on further in his career

Attorney Mathew Rosengart, who ended Britney Spears' conservatorship, moves on to focus on other clients.

Britney Spears' attorney says he was honoured to protect her, and moves on further in his career

Mathew Rosengart, the attorney that helped liberate Britney Spears from a 13-year conservatorship, is moving on to help and focus on more clients, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In an interview with PEOPLE on June 24, Rosengart says the he was: "Honored to work with and protect Britney, who is and will always be an icon, and most specifically, to have helped restore the fundamental rights and civil liberties that were stripped from her, which was always our focus."

After finally freeing Spears' from the conservatorship, which was suspended in September of 2021 and subsequently terminated on the 12th of November 2021, Rosengart resolved any and all litigation relating to the conservatorship.

After the court hearing to terminate the conservatorship, Rosengart addressed the media and Britney's fans, calling it a "monumental" day for the pop star, according to PEOPLE.

"What's next for Britney is up to one person — and this is the first time we can say this in a decade. It's up to Britney," he declared. "Britney, as of today, is a free woman."

The pop star published an Instagram post three months later in February 2022, thanking the attorney.

"This man has turned my life around … So many exciting projects ahead !!!!" Spears wrote, then 40. "We accidentally matched for lunch !!!! Thank you for being so kind and respectful to me always!!!!!!"

Rosengart has continued to represent Spears in the ensuing legal matters, such as settling the dispute between the artist and her father over legal fees that arose due to the conservatorship.

"Although the conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, her wish for freedom is now truly complete," He stated, as reported by PEOPLE. "As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter."

"I cannot comment on any specifics as the settlement is confidential. Jamie is thrilled that this is all behind him. He loves his daughter very much and everything he has ever done has been to protect and support her," Alex Weingarten, attorney of Jamie, Britney's father, responded in a statement to PEOPLE. "It is unfortunate that some irresponsible people in Britney's life chose to drag this on for as long as it has."

In reflection upon the last three years as Spears' attorney, Rosengart told The Hollywood Reporter, "As I've always said, the credit goes to Britney."

Mathew Rosengart, Power Litigator Who Freed Britney Spears From Conservatorship, Closes Chapter of Representing Pop Superstar

Mathew Rosengart, a powerhouse litigator whose resume includes clerking for U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter and a stint as a Department of Justice trial attorney, has a stable of high-profile Hollywood clients like Steven Spielberg, Michael Mann, Sean Penn and Casey Affleck. But it's his work with Britney Spears in successfully freeing the pop superstar from a controversial, restrictive and highly scrutinized 13-year conservatorship that catapulted the Greenberg Traurig partner into something of a household name and globally recognized legal eagle.

In a swift four months, from July to November 2021, Rosengart dove headfirst into the probate court case after being handpicked by the singer herself with one goal in mind — to free Spears from the arrangement that limited her rights and left all life decisions in the hands of a team led by her father Jamie Spears. Rosengart accomplished that on Nov. 12, 2021, when L.A. County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny granted a petition to terminate the conservatorship. Over the past three years, Rosengart remained on the case to settle loose ends while resolving an ongoing legal dispute with the singer's father, Jamie Spears, over his attorney's fees. The latter matter was resolved two months ago, bringing a quieter end to the entire ordeal but delivering an exclamation point nonetheless.

There's no active litigation at this time, Rosengart has said. "As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter," he explained in a statement issued on April 26.

As such, Rosengart is closing the chapter as Spears' litigator of record as he shifts focus toward to other clients. "It has been an honor to serve as Britney's litigator, to work with her to achieve her goals in obtaining the court-ordered suspension of her former conservator, followed by restoring her fundamental rights and civil liberties, while continuing to protect her and more recently to extricate her from all outstanding litigation and the byzantine probate court proceedings. As I've always said, the credit goes to Britney," Rosengart says in a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

Rosengart's work with Spears over these past three years extended beyond the conservatorship as he emerged wearing many hats as a trusted counsel and point of contact in a number of high-profile negotiations and situations. It is understood, however, that his role in her life was always as a litigator and such an arrangement would always have an end date.

Rosengart played a key role in shepherding a number of deals and developments in Spears' life. Those included a massive Simon & Schuster book deal for her best-selling memoir The Woman in Me, a prenuptial agreement and subsequent divorce with ex-husband Sam Asghari, a restraining order against ex-husband Jason Alexander (who attempted to crash her Asghari wedding) and more. In May, following an incident at Chateau Marmont that reportedly left her with an ankle injury, Spears credited Rosengart with helping her through the aftermath. "This man is wonderful!!! He's like a father to me," she posted. "I adore you and admire you mister Matthew!!!"

For his work, Spears has repeatedly and profusely praised Rosengart through multiple Instagram posts (her primary source of public commentary) and in The Woman in Me. Rosengart has also been hailed as a hero by the pop star's legions of fans, a group that doggedly propelled the #FreeBritney movement. Though the attention, compliments and numerous accolades and awards may have been a surprise for Rosengart, it wasn't completely new. Rosengart once triumphed on behalf of Penn in a defamation case against Lee Daniels, and the Oscar-winning actor has since praised his lawyer as a "tough-as-nails street fighter with a big brain and bigger principles."

Mathew Rosengart speaks outside the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles on Sept. 29, 2021. Kevin Winter/Getty Images

He previously told THR that he leaned on those principles when taking the case. "I've always detested bullying, even growing up," he told THR. "Bullying a woman is even more unacceptable and abhorrent. It was troubling to me both personally and professionally, and I felt I could help stop it, as a lawyer and otherwise. That's a pledge I made, and it was really rewarding to be able to help."

Spears' life started to change in June 2021, when, for the first time, the singer addressed the court herself, by phone, during a conservatorship hearing. Spears spent more than 20 minutes unloading to Judge Brenda Penny in a scorching declaration of life under the "abusive" restrictions she'd been under since 2008. "It is my wish and my dream for all of this to end," said Spears who requested during prepared remarks that she be able to hire an attorney of her choosing rather than continue with conservatorship-approved counsel Samuel Ingham.

Within days, on July 10, 2021, Rosengart made his way to Spears' residence where, in a pool house, they met to discuss a plan that would see the powerhouse litigator and former Department of Justice trial attorney to take the case. The court approved his appointment in July, and in a swift four months Spears' wish was granted. On Nov. 12, 2021, Judge Penny granted a petition to terminate the 13-year arrangement in a landmark probate court decision, delivering a seismic shift for Spears that freed her from the conservatorship and opened her life in a way that left her future open ended.

Last October, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Senate Bill 43 that updated the state's conservatorship laws for the first time in half a century. The bill was designed to give individuals protected rights while also increasing transparency on the process.

When the conservatorship was terminated that day in November, Rosengart fielded a question from reporters outside the court house in Downtown Los Angeles. "What's next for Britney?" asked a journalist, to which Rosengart replied, "What's next for Britney — and this is the first time this could be said for about a decade — is up to one person: Britney."

Britney Spears’ powerhouse lawyer no longer in her legal team

Britney Spears' lawyer, who represented her during the conservatorship case, is not longer the singer's attorney as he moves on,

Spears was under a 13-year conservatorship which finally ended in 2021, courtesy of her attorney, Mathew Rosengart. The powerhouse litigator issued a statement revealing that the singer no longer needs his assistance as the case has come to a close, per Page Six.

"Our goal together was always to suspend her father and restore her fundamental rights and civil liberties, and I will always be extremely proud of our work together," he told the outlet.

"As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter," Rosengart said.

Spears had replaced her court-appointed lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham III, with Rosengart in July 2021 after she spoke up about the grievances she had with her conservatorship.

The case was finally settled with her estranged father, Jamie Spears, in April, which allowed them to end it without going to a trial.

The lawyer was able to end the Gimme More singer's case in a matter of months. In September 2021, the attorney suspended Jamie from controlling his daughter's matters and terminated the conservatorship altogether in November.

Twenty-Five Years Ago, Limp Bizkit Pioneered Nu Metal Post-Irony with Significant Other

Hating Limp Bizkit has long been a cold take, so calling the band's late-career resurgence unexpected is an understatement. Sure, plenty of nu metal bands have been getting their flowers from the culture recently, but Limp Bizkit? Seeing the nu metal whipping boys headlining festivals in modern times feels like a glitch in the matrix. Even nu metal fans hated them back then, and they knew it! You don't call your comeback album Still Sucks unless you're in on the joke. But, a closer examination of Fred Durst and company's trajectory reveals a career less like Tommy Wiseau (who created his cinematic miscarriage The Room in earnest and cashed in on the unintentional comedy later), and more like Adam Sandler (who very clearly knew, and knows, what he's making). Limp Bizkit could not have created an album like Significant Other without a genius for bonafide buffoonery.

Let's start with the songs even the biggest haters can't help but sing along to. "Nookie" and "Break Stuff" might be the best distillation of what everyone loves to hate about nu metal, but also what put Mr. Chocolate Starfish in the same echelon as Christina Agulera and Britney Spears. Understand this… rumors exist of him hooking up with both of these women, because of a song about shoving a cookie up someone's "YEEAAHH." Underneath the dude-bro break-up anthem lies some genuinely weird riffs from Wes Borland. He could have gone with a generic bounce riff (the moshers who attended Woodstock '99 certainly wouldn't have cared), but instead offered little pockets of Faith No More in the fray.

Maybe it was the ultra-raw Ross Robinson production style or the fact a lot of nu metal bands didn't consist of amazing musicians, but the tight performance of a cut like "Break Stuff" feels separate from that world. John Otto's immaculate drum sound immediately stands out, and the way he locks in with bassist Sam Rivers feels about as professional as nu metal can get. These musicians don't sound like they have to play dumbed-down rage bate. They simply understood Durst's vision for Limp Bizkit. It's not smart. It's not clever. It's unrefined testosterone in a glossy major-label package. Other than the potency of nostalgia, it also takes an awareness of post-irony for would-be haters to come around on this music.

One does not simply write "Rumble the earth with my lowered suspension/ Just watch the ground move, let the sound prove/ That it ain't fake when the girls get naked" unless it's for a goof. This is the kind of wordplay to expect from a bedroom rap tape or a local bar band, yet here it is on the first track of a multi-platinum-selling album. But even here, you have Rivers' inexplicable turn for electro-funk, both in tone and groove. Indeed, Rivers is very much an unspoken hero of Significant Other. Tracks like "Re-Arranged" show how overqualified he is for the nu metal form. It feels like the instrumentation could go full Yellowjackets at any moment. Some may lament the fact the instrumentalists didn't form a better band without Durst to flex more of their chops, but you can't deny the flawless execution helps you vibe through abject ignorance.

Speaking of subject matter, this record is at its strongest when Durst jumps back and forth between low-brow jabs and dramatic broetry. The "I'm Broke" mantra is about as basic as the syncopated beat that kicks it off, but do not lie to my face and say you don't get a chuckle out of lines like "bums are the kind of shit that's in a diaper." A man as business savvy as Fred Durst wasn't aware of that level of stupidity. It's a time capsule from the era that gave us Freddy Got Fingered. Just like that movie's director Tom Green, all it took was the advent of meme culture for people to experience an album like this and embrace the trash. Not only is it more fun to be in on the joke, but to have the irony fold back in on itself. The bars stop being "funny bad." Irony poisoning has made them awesome.

Regardless of the underlying talent in the band, it's still fairly obvious that Durst is the reason why this band may never achieve real respect. Significant Other attempts to generate hooks often misfire because of his lack of range. Jonathan Davis proves himself as a far superior singer on "Nobody Like You," and it should go without saying that Method Man raps in circles around Durst when they trade bars on "N 2 Gether Now." It is nice to hear DJ Lethal a chance to shine on the latter track, but these deeper cuts sometimes prove Limp Bizkit isn't a full album experience type band.

There isn't much to glean from "Don't Go Off Wandering" as Durst tries to rap over a 3-count beat, other than his limitations as a performer. Even if the bridge of "9 Teen 90 Nine" shows potential for a better song, it's a retread of every Limp Bizkit single before or since. There's no excuse for lagging like this, considering all "Trust?" needs a displaced downbeat to separate its feel from the rest of the tracks. Yes, the lyrics are dumb, but the instrumentation can (and often is) smart in its simplicity. The song "No Sex" contends for the most reductive song about carnal relations, but that doesn't stop Borland and Rivers from coming together on some dissonant shades of fusion funk.

It wouldn't be a Limp Bizkit album without a call to "get the fuck up" in "Show Me What You Got," sandwiching Durst trying to name every notable city in the United States (he wants EVERYONE to "get the fuck up"). It would've been a much better send-off than the dreary ramblings of "A Lesson Learned," or the pointless beat loop of "outro." It's fair to say this album did not have to be an hour long. A handful of songs could have been combined, or omitted entirely for the album to flow better and hit with the best it has to offer.

Limp Bizkit never set out to offer anything deep. The fun arrangement choices come from the fact Durst surrounded himself with REALLY good musicians, not because he was trying to create high art. If it hasn't been clarified, that should bother no one. It's okay to be in on the joke. You're not smart because you poo-poo Durst's lyrics. The moments where he strikes the balance between the sincere and the brainless have only become more suitable for this age of post-truth brain rot. Wade into the scum water. It's fun, I promise.

Justin Timberlake to Taylor Swift: 5 Popular diss tracks of all time

What happens when one singer cheats, or fights and never gets it sorted it out? Well, the best way is to diss someone without getting physically or verbally involved. Be it Justin Timberlake, Eminem or Taylor Swift, their songs became chartbusters of all time. Let's take a look at these popular singers and their songs which made them gain worldwide fame within no time.

1. Justin Timberlake- Cry Me a River

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears began dating at the age of 18 after they met on the sets of the Disney show Mickey Mouse Club. The song Cry Me a River was when reports and speculation were about Britney Spears cheating on him. The song became one of the biggest hits of Justin Timberlake of that time.

2. Eminem- The Warning

The Warning is a popular diss track written and performed by Eminem for the singer Mariah Carey. The rapper had claimed that the duo dated for six months and Carey had always denied the claim. Their beef was known by the industry as well as fans very evidently.

3. Miley Cyrus- Flowers

Miley Cyrus's latest single Flowers became viral within no time due to the lyrics which seemed to be directed at ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. The dance scene in the music video was also a direct dig at him when Liam reprimanded her at the red carpet interview.

4. Taylor Swift- Look What You Made Me Do

Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift is a creative diss track directed at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The Taylor and Kanye beef began in 2009 when Taylor won the Best Female Video at the VMAs and Kanye interrupted for winning speech by saying, "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, but Beyonce had the best record of all time…" speech.

5. Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj- Swish Swish

The song Swish Swish is a direct dig at Taylor Swift, which is based on the receipts compellingly named Karma Coffee and Tea. In the first verse, Perry tells a mystery listener (Swift?) "Don't you come for me" and makes a noteworthy reference to a sheep.

Yulia Putintseva gets her groove on to Britney Spears during Birmingham changeover

Pop Culture

'Dancing and singing are my thing," Putintseva said this year ... and we learned that first-hand on Friday.

Oops, she did it again! Yulia Putintseva turned a standard third-set changeover into her own personal concert on Friday at the Rothesay Classic, as she took advantage of the down time to move and groove to a Britney Spears song.

After failing to close out her quarterfinal match against American Caroline Dolehide in straight sets despite having a 6-3, 5-3 lead, Putintseva was in much better spirits later in the third set after taking a 5-0 lead.

And as Spears' chart-topping hit, "Oops, I Did it Again!" blared over the Center Court speakers, Putintseva couldn't help herself: Mouthing the words to the song's famous chorus, she had a seated dance-party-for-one until the chair umpire called time.

She eventually won the match, 6-3, 6-7(2), 6-1.

Putitnseva is one of the tour's top pop connoisseurs, having personally met artists including Lil Nas X and Zedd while at her home base in Miami, Fla., and attended shows for megastars like Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd around the world in her globe-trotting tennis career.

"Dancing and singing are my thing," a resurgent Putintseva said this year in Miami, where she reached her first WTA 1000 quarterfinal in two years.

But before the former world No. 27 heads to her next concert, her good groove continued first in Saturday's semifinals against Elisabetta Cocciaretto.

Now ranked No. 41, Putintseva advanced to her sixth career WTA singles final, and first on grass, with a 6-2, 6-2 win.

Britney Spears wishes fans a 'wonderful weekend' as she dances in a bikini top and cut-off shorts... after ex Justin Timberlake's DWI arrest

Britney Spears is continuing to live her best life after being freed from her 13-year conservatorship back in November 2021.

And on Saturday, the Toxic hitmaker, 42, took to Instagram to share a fun clip of herself dancing in her Las Vegas hotel room.

The Baby One More Time singer showed off her moves in a tiny white bikini top styled with white cut-off shorts and a pink jacket.

She tapped on the tiles in her spacious hotel bathroom in a pair of white go-go boots.

Spears â€Â" who has been vacationing in Sin City this week â€Â" also wore a black choker and tossed her long blonde hair from side to side.

The new video comes amid her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake's, 43, arrest for a DWI in the Hamptons.

In a video she posted on Thursday, she appeared to call out one of the Cry Me a River singer's other exes â€Â" Cameron Diaz.

Britney uploaded a dance video and joked in the caption that she had Something About Mary hair

Diaz â€Â" who began dating Timberlake after his and Spears' 2002 split â€Â" famously starred as dream girl Mary Jensen in the 1998 rom-com There's Something About Mary.

Spears was referring to the film's infamous 'hair-gel scene' where Mary's bangs defy gravity after mistaking love interest Ted Stroehmann's (played by Ben Stiller's) sperm for hair-gel.

'I have no idea what's going on with the hair but obviously the "something about Mary" hair is a hit,' Spears â€Â" whose own bangs looked extra voluminous in the clip â€Â" wrote.

Timberlake shocked fans this week when it was revealed that he'd been arrested in Sag Harbor for drunk driving on Tuesday night.

The new video comes amid her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake 's, 43, arrest for a DWI in the Hamptons

Timberlake and Spears famously dated from 1999 to 2002; seen in 2001

And just hours after the news broke, Spears broke her silence by appearing to throw shade at her ex-boyfriend.

She toasted 'to the little things' in life while showing off a fruity cocktail on Instagram as she vacationed in Las Vegas.

'It's the little things you know !!!!' the star cheekily captioned the post.

At the same time, a video from 2007 of Timberlake seemingly warning Spears to 'stop drinking' went viral in wake of his drunk driving debacle.

The video captures Timberlake accepting a Brit Award in a pre-recorded speech, 'Stop drinking. You know who you are. I'm speaking to you. Stop drinking, you're going to get sloppy. OK! is going to say something bad about you.'

Justin Timberlake 'was freaking out and stayed up all night' in custody after DWI arrest in The Hamptons - and maintained he only had ONE DRINK

Justin Timberlake was reportedly 'freaking out' while in custody after his DWI arrest in The Hamptons on Tuesday as it is claimed he is struggling with the end of his 'golden boy image.'

The 43-year-old singer was held overnight in police custody after his arrest when leaving a night out with pals at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor.

According to a source for People magazine on Friday: 'He was freaking out and stayed up all night when he was in custody.

'He's insisting he only had one drink and it wasn't some wild night out.'

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Timberlake and has yet to hear back.

Justin has maintained that he only had one drink on the night of the incident.

Â  According to his arrest report he told the officer - who did not recognize him - after being pulled over: 'I had one martini and I followed my friends home.'

This comes as the pop star is reportedly struggling with the end of his 'golden boy image' and feelings that his career is not where he hoped it would be at this point.

Following his arrest for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor earlier this week, sources say the 43-year-old singer has been having trouble with the lackluster album sales of his sixth record, Everything I Thought It Was, released in March.

'The album didn't do too well, and I don't see Justin getting big acting roles right now,' an insider told Page Six. 'I just think Justin has a bad reputation in Hollywood as a bit of a jerk and a pain in the a**.'

The industry source added: 'He's got a bit of an ego.'

The father-of-two, who has won more than 10 Grammys since rising to fame as one of the lead vocalists for the boyband NSYNC, has endured a tough year as an artist.

Regarding Justin (pictured with Jimmy Fallon) according to a source for People magazine on Friday: 'He was freaking out and stayed up all night when he was in custody. 'He's insisting he only had one drink and it wasn't some wild night out'

Justin Timberlake i s reportedly struggling with the end of his 'golden boy image' and feelings that his career is not where he hoped it would be at this point (seen in April 2024)

His latest single, Everything I Thought It Was, marked his first solo release not to hit the number one spot on the charts since his track, Justified, was released in 2002.

Additionally, the sales for his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour have been described as 'lackluster.'

'His golden boy image is definitely depleted,' the Hollywood insider said of the musician, who is one of the most influential entertainers of the 21st century.

The source acknowledged that 'there have been rumors around Justin's behavior for a long time' and 'maybe the bubble was about to burst and this was the pin that pricked the bubble.'

'In today's world you have to be really dumb to drink and drive,' the industry insider continued. 'Justin is showing off a side that I don't think a lot of people knew about.'

While he is best known as a pop singer, Timberlake has dabbled in acting over the years and was said to have his sights set on an Academy Award nomination for his role in The Social Network back in 2010.

The SexyBack hitmaker ended up getting a nod, five years later, for penning the single Can't Stop the Feeling! for the animated comedy film Trolls.

Most recently, he starred in Netflix's 2023 crime thriller, Reptile, alongside Benicio Del Toro and Alicia Silverstone.

Following his arrest for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor earlier this week, sources say the singer (pictured May 2022)  has been having trouble with the lackluster album sales for his sixth record, Everything I Thought It Was

Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, rented a house in Sag Harbor for the summer, 'like they did last year,' according to Page Six.

Timberlake's arrest came amid a short break in touring, following his June 15 performance in Miami and ahead of two shows in Chicago on June 21 and 22.

It was previously reported that he planned to follow through with the Chicago concerts, and now sources are indicating that fans with tickets further along his world tour route can still expect to see him perform.

The pop singer's tour will continue through December with stops in New York City before diving farther into the US, heading over to Europe, back to Canada and then spending several more weeks in the US.

Timberlake was arrested in the tony Hamptons village of Sag Harbor in New York.

Police reportedly detected a strong stench of alcohol after pulling him over.

He refused to take a breathalyzer test at the scene, so his driving privileges have been suspended in the state of New York.

Although Justin was arraigned on the DWI charge, as well as other traffic viola tions, he has so far remained tight-lipped about his arrest, despite having to spend a night in jail.

He was also cited for allegedly running a stop sign and for failure to stay in his lane. Timberlake, who was released on bail, has his next court date scheduled for July 26.

Although the NSYNC singer has been keeping quiet, fans of his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears have been extremely vocal about the arrest on social media.

'Fans are buying "Criminal" by Britney Spears after Justin Timberlake's arrest,' the X account Britney Stan posted on Tuesday morning, along with a clip from the the pop superstar's music video.

'The album didn't do too well, and I don't see Justin getting big acting roles right now,' an insider told Page Six . 'I just think Justin has a bad reputation in Hollywood as a bit of a jerk and a pain in the a**' (seen in 2018)

Others pointed out the seeming hypocrisy of Timberlake being arrested for a DWI after allegedly urging Spears to quit drinking.

He never directly addressed the songstress, but her fans have claimed that comments he made in 2007 while accepting a Brit Award were directed at Spears.

'Stop drinking! You know who you are. Iâ€Â™m speaking to you,' he said at the time. 'You are going to get sloppy. OK! Magazine is going to say something bad about you.'

However, Timberlake denied that the message was aimed at Spears during a later interview with GQ.

A rep for the former boy band singer claimed to Fox News that he was simply referencing 'people in the crowd, no one in particular.'

Timberlake has been married to the actress Jessica Biel since 2012, and they share two children.

The couple share two sons: six-year-old Silas and four-year-old Phineas.

Justin Timberlake’s stiff drink at Hamptons hotel bar before DWI bust revealed: ‘It’s all alcohol’

Justin Timberlake downed a stiff $21 cocktail made famous by fictitious British spy James Bond before his arrest for allegedly drunk driving in the Hamptons earlier this week, according to reports.

The 43-year-old "Cry Me a River" singer ordered a Vesper Martini from the menu of the American Hotel in the Sag Harbor on Tuesday, sources told the Daily Beast, who described the recipe as "all alcohol."

"There is no mixer," the source said.

The Vesper Martini contains Grey Goose vodka, Tanqueray gin, the wine aperitif Lillet Blanc and a thick twist of lemon rind.

Cocktail blogger Moody Mixologist notes the cocktail is "not for the faint of heart" as the recipe usually calls for a "whopping 4 ounces of liquor."

"It's safe to say that the level of alcohol in this martini is equivalent to a double of just about any other cocktail," Moody Mixologist wrote.

Timberlake told cops he'd had just "one martini" after police pulled him over for allegedly blowing a stop sign, but he refused to take a breathalyzer and reportedly failed a field sobriety test.

His drink of choice for the night gained popularity when it appeared in author Ian Fleming's 1953 debut novel Casino Royale, according to The Rake, when the British spy called back a waiter after asking for a standard dry martini and tweaked his order.

"Just a moment. Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?" Bond said in the novel.

Later in the story Bond would name the drink after Vesper Lynd, a beautiful and brilliant fellow operative he falls in love with but who is forced to betray him and ultimately takes her own life for it.

The drink grew in popularity after the novel was released, but after the 2006 adaptation starring Daniel Craig as Bond and Eva Green as Vesper it became a staple on cocktail menus across the country.

The pop icon went to the American Hotel in Sag Harbor. Gregory P. Mango

Timberlake was allegedly "wasted" at the American Hotel before his bust, with one source previously telling The Post he was grabbing and downing other peoples' drinks off their table.

After being busted by cops – who didn't recognize him – Timberlake reportedly said "This is going to ruin the tour" under his breath before being cuffed.

He is in the midst of a world tour and is due to perform at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan at the end of June.

Timberlake has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence, and could face up to a year in Suffolk County jail if convicted.

Experts have speculated it is unlikely Timberlake would be put behind bars, predicting that he would face a fine and license suspension instead.

Britney Spears’ Father, Jamie Spears, Seen For First Time In A Wheelchair After Settling Legal Dispute With His Daughter

Britney Spears' amputee father, Jamie Spears, was spotted for the first time after settling their years-long legal dispute over Britney's conservatorship. In 2008, the pop star was involuntarily placed in a conservatorship by her father with the consent of a judge.

The conservatorship, meant to last only days, was extended until November 2021, adding up to 13 years. The situation sparked a major controversy, with fans starting a social media movement dubbed "#FreeBritney." After the conservatorship ended, Britney spoke about the alleged abuse she faced from her family and became a symbol of the human rights movement. Britney's career was also intensely examined, with fans investigating how the media warped her public image as a teen pop star.

The legal dispute between Britney and her father wasn't settled until May 2024, two years after the conservation was terminated.

Photographers captured Jamie, 71, in a wheelchair at a medical center in Kentwood, Louisiana, where he resides. Jamie had his right leg amputated in December 2023 due to a bacterial infection.

Before he visited the medical center, Jamie and his caretaker were seen at two drive-through pharmacies and a Dollar General. Kentwood used to boast of being the birthplace of Britney, born in McComb, Mississippi.

Jamie faced harsh criticism for his role in his daughter's conservatorship. In December 2022, Jamie defended himself in a statement, saying, "I don't know if she'd be alive [without it]." Jamie added that he stopped Britney from "going further down the hole than she had been."

Britney Spears Fans Think Her New Instagram Post Is A Jab At Ex Justin Timberlake After His Arrest

Just hours after Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor for a DWI, Britney Spears—who spoke out about their early 2000s relationship in her memoir—posted a cryptic Instagram photo, and fan s think is a direct jab at her troubled ex.

While vacationing in Las Vegas, Spears shared a series of snaps documenting her trip—including a summery pic in a pool and a photo of her vacation cocktail, which she captioned, "It's the little things you know 🌷🌷!!!"

"The drama," one person simply wrote on X.

"I wouldn't get too smug if I were her. She's not doing any better," another fan more harshly responded.

"Yeah…girlfriend needs to keep working on herself. She has a ways to go. Leave Justin alone," a third person criticized.

Other users, however, were quick to jump to Brit's defense, claiming any connections between Spears' cocktail post and Timberlake's arrest were nothing but a "reach."

"Way to jump to conclusions," a fan commented under one headline. "Literally nothing else going on this week huh," a second person chimed in.

Whether Brit meant the cocktail post as a shady callout or not, Justin Timberlake is in hot water after his arrest early Tuesday morning. According to sources, the singer—who claimed to police officers that he had just "one martini"—was reportedly "wasted" at Hamptons hotspot the American Hotel.

"At one point, just before closing, somebody got up to go to the bathroom and left his drink on the table. When [the guy] came back, [Justin] was drinking his drink," an onlooker told The New York Post.

The arrest report claims there was a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage" that was "emanating from [Justin's] breath" when he was pulled over shortly after leaving the restaurant. He sustained charges for driving while intoxicated or impaired and also received two citations for running a stop sign and failure to stay in his own lane.

Spears herself has gotten candid as of late about her own history with alcohol. In fact, late last year she released a teaser of her memoir and revealed that she would drink daiquiris with her mom when she was in the eighth grade.

"For fun, starting when I was in eighth grade, my mom and I would make the two-hour drive from Kentwood to Biloxi, Mississippi, and while we were there, we would drink daiquiris," Spears writes in the book. "We called our cocktails 'toddies.'"

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s complete relationship timeline

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been together since 2007 – but they've certainly had their fair share of ups and downs over the years.

The former *NSYNC member and the "7th Heaven" actress dated for four years before briefly splitting up in 2011. However, they rekindled their love by getting engaged that same year, tied the knot in 2012 and later welcomed their two children, Silas and Phineas.

In more recent years, Timberlake has been accused of infidelity rumors (which he has vehemently denied) and has made headlines for his alleged drinking problems. The "Cry Me a River" singer was arrested in Sag Harbor, NY, in June 2024 on DWI-related charges after a night out of partying with friends.

Timberlake and Biel sparked romance rumors in January 2007 when they were spotted snowboarding together with friends in Park City, Utah. At the time, Timberlake had recently split from actress Cameron Diaz while Biel was coming out of a relationship with MLB star Derek Jeter.

The "Sinner" actress later told GQ that they met at a "birthday party that Justin was throwing for a friend of his." For his part, Timberlake admitted that there "was nothing starry" about the way they got together.

"It was very un-Hollywood-esque, in fact. We met and got talking," he told reporters during a press conference in 2012, per Us Weekly. "Afterwards, I asked my friend if I could call her and ask her out. My friend called Jessica and Jessica said 'yes,' and so I called her."

Timberlake said he purposely chose to ask Biel out the "old fashioned way" with a phone call.

"There is a thing called chivalry. The way I see it, if you're asking a girl out on a date, it's only right to do it in a way that she can hear your voice," he explained at the time. "I had to be pretty persistent in order to get her to say 'yes.' But I have a fair amount of tenacity and if I want something I stick to it. And in the end she agreed."

In 2008, Biel appeared on the cover of British GQ's December issue, in which she confirmed her romance with Timberlake for the first time in the accompanying interview.

The actress admitted to the outlet that she was keeping her relationship more private, calling the romance her "one sparkly present" that she doesn't "want to open in front of strangers."

"It's the one part of my life that is my own and not for anyone else," she explained.

Two years into the relationship, fans began to wonder whether Biel and Timberlake had broken up, as they appeared to be seen less frequently together in public.

However, a source close to the couple told People in September 2009 that the only time they spend "apart" is when "they're working."

"They were smiling and laughing. At one stage, he grabbed her hand and rested it on his knee," an eyewitness told the outlet at the time. "She then gently started stroking his leg. Then he clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands."

Timberlake later wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post that he would "address recent rumors" that were "hurting the people" he loves.

He added, "I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that."

Despite the speculation, Biel and Timberlake continued putting on a united front in public.

Biel even sported a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture to honor her original gown.

"It was very intimate. It was very small, a couple of our friends, and we literally barely put this thing together. We almost canceled it. In the book, Spears revealed that she got pregnant with Timberlake's baby, but she had an abortion, because he "didn't want to be a father." She even went into detail about how she was "sobbing" throughout the "excruciating" procedure.

The "Toxic" singer also accused Timberlake of cheating on her "a couple of times," though she didn't specify when or with whom.

Shortly after the book dropped, both Timberlake and Biel restricted their social media profiles and took their kids on a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

They have not directly addressed the claims, but a source told the Daily Mail that Timberlake was reportedly "not happy" with the book.

"Justin has not reached out to Britney at all about any of this, and he is not going to because there is nothing he can say to her," the insider spilled.

Despite the wild claims, an insider told People that Timberlake and Biel were in "such a great place."

Timberlake was pulled over and subsequently arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and two other traffic violations after police officers –– who were "stationed outside where he was having dinner" –– saw him running a stop sign and swerving into the wrong lane on June 18, 2024.

Sources told Page Six that the "It's Gonna Be Me" singer was "with a bunch of friends" at the American Hotel before he attempted to leave in his vehicle right after midnight.

A police officer –– who "was so young that he didn't even know" who the singer was –– pulled him over and performed a field sobriety test on him. Timberlake refused to take a breathalyzer test.

The police officer claimed that Timberlake had "bloodshot" and "glassy" eyes and a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage" on his breath. jessicabiel/Instagram At the time of the arrest, Timberlake claimed he had "one martini." Getty Images

"His friends were telling the police, 'Let him go, let him go,'" one insider told us.

In the criminal complaint obtained by Page Six, the officer claimed that Timberlake had "bloodshot" and "glassy" eyes and a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage" on his breath.

The report noted that Timberlake claimed he only had "one martini" before hopping in his vehicle. However, the arresting officer alleged that Timberlake "was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests."

After his arrest, Biel was seen filming "The Better Sister" in New York City on June 18. GC Images Neither Biel nor Timberlake have addressed the arrest. GC Images

The dad of two was then photographed leaving the police station in handcuffs. His mugshot was also released.

Meanwhile, Biel was photographed filming her show "The Better Sister" just hours before the incident and the following day in Manhattan.

Reps for Timberlake and Biel have not responded to Page Six's requests for comment.

Jamie Lynn Spears Shares Rare Throwback Photo of Britney Spears' Sons Sean and Jayden

Jamie Lynn Spears' Daughter Maddie Looks All Grown Up in Prom Pics

Jamie Lynn Spears is giving a peak into the Spears home.

In a tribute celebrating her daughter Maddie's 16th birthday, the Zoey 101 star shared some rare throwback photos that featured her older sister Britney Spears' sons Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17.

In the June 19 carousel, Sean and Jayden—Britney's sons with ex Kevin Federline—are photographed smiling alongside cousins Maddie and Ivey, 6.

"16 years ago I fell in love for the first time, and loving that sweet baby girl saved my life in so many ways," Jamie Lynn, who shares Maddie with ex Casey Aldridge and her toddler with husband Jamie Watson, wrote. "It wasn't always easy, and surely farrrr from perfect, but I have always been so proud to be her mama. She's everything I prayed for, I thank God for every birthday we get to celebrate her, and won't take a second of it for granted."

While Sean and Jayden have remained out of the spotlight in recent years, including moving to Hawaii with their dad and his wife of 11 years, Victoria Price, the All That alum has occasionally shared snaps of her nephews—including on vacation in Louisiana, at a baseball game and during family vacations.

And despite a strained relationship with Britney in recent years, Jamie Lynn's love for her older sister runs deep.

"I say, 'You should be so proud,'" she told Variety last year. "'Look at what your family's done and accomplished. We came from a small town, and now everybody's fascinated by the good and, especially, the bad. But look at what an example of a strong female you have. You have something to be proud of, and you should have pride in that.'"
