Star not taking medication for disorder she has suffered for since her early teens

Britney Spears’ erratic behaviour on her first few weeks of X Factor USA has been blamed on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder which the star has suffered from since her teens and no longer takes medication for.
According to RadarOnline the ‘Toxic’ star has been leaving the judging table abruptly and arguing with Simon because of the disorder but can do nothing to control it because it would interfere with other medication she is taking.
"Britney was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in her teens and used to take medication for it," a source revealed. "The medication helped her deal with it, however, she can't take it now because it interferes with the other medications she takes for her mental health issues.Britney's current team of doctors strictly prohibit her from taking Adderall or Ritalin, which are commonly given to people with ADHD.â€
The behaviour has come as no surprise to Simon Cowell who was fully aware of the condition before signing a whopping $15 million deal for her to join the show. It explains the series of agreements in the deal including that Britters can take a break whenever she wants.
"Simon was made fully aware of Britney's medical history before the contract was signed, so this certainly isn't a big surprise that she needs to take breaks during the audition process,†the source went on, “Britney basically has the attention span of a 10-year-old at times. It's not alarming to Simon at all and he is fully supportive of Britney doing whatever she needs to do during filming."
Though she is still dealing with troubles in her personal life, the star has had a successful star to the X Factor experience and was praised by her fiancé Jason Trawick in a video message last week to celebrate her arrival on the talent show.
