New X-Factor judge Britney Spears has gotten a lot closer with the other judges, but LA Reid has gotten so close that the pop icon named him her new best friend forever.

Early this morning, Britney, 30, tweeted, “We become a little more BFF every single day.” Later, LA Reid, 56, tweeted a similar message, “Providence was amazing. Every single day has been brilliant with my new BFF @britneyspears @TheXFactorUSA.”

Days before on June 27, Reid tweeted a picture of Britney kissing him on the cheek with the caption, “Now THIS is #Britneylicious.” Britney replied, “Oh and this is only the beginning! You just wait.” With a little flirtation like that, fans can’t wait to see the rest either!

Despite rumors of Spears clashing with judge Demi Lovato, an insider told Us Weekly that there is no drama between them. “Britney and Demi are getting along great. Whenever they aren't filming, Demi and Britney are chatting and hanging out...They are seriously bonding big time. It's nice to see.”

Yesterday marked the third day of auditions in Providence, Rhode Island, which was the fourth location of The X Factor nationwide audition tour.

The auditions continue on July 8-10 in Greensboro, North Carolina, meaning Britney has a week off to hang out with her other BFF, fiancé Jason Trawick and sons Sean and Jayden.
