Britney Spears and Jason Trawick's wedding plans: conflicting reports - Examiner.com

Depending on which tabloid report you believe, "The X Factor" U.S. judge Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have put their wedding plans on hold without deciding on a target month or they are set to get married in December 2012. Spears and Trawick, who got engaged in December 2011, have not publicly commented on when they plan to get married.

The National Enquirer reports that 30-year-old Spears and 40-year-old Trawick have no plans to get married in 2012 because Spears hasn't made up her mind about what kind of wedding she wants to have.

An unnamed source told the National Enquirer: ''There is still no date or really even any plans in place yet. Jason really hopes to get married around Christmas [2012], and he wants to have a huge bash. Britney, on the other hand, is completely holding back from making any plans.

''She just isn't ready to commit to concrete plans, because she's not sure what the right thing to do is. She's confused. This is her third wedding, so she doesn't know whether she should go really big and make a huge statement or just do it super toned down.''

But according to Now magazine (a U.K. tabloid), Spears and Trawick have already made plans to get married in December 2012, possibly in Hawaii.

Now magazine also claims that the wedding plans are so certain that Spears is spending a six-figure sum for a fitness/beauty regime so that she can improve her looks in time for the wedding.

An unnamed source told Now: "Brit's looking great at the moment; her new body's given her a huge boost. That's spurred her on to keep going and she's now decided to add more elements to her regime."

Now magazine even itemizes the alleged expenses that Spears is supposedly paying for her pre-wedding makeover:

  • £28,000 (or $44,800 in U.S. dollars) on four Borba facials where rubies and diamonds are used to polish the skin, at £7,000 ($11,200) each.
  • £25,600 (or $40,960) on personal trainers and Pilates class, spending £3,200 (or $5,120) per week for two months.
  • £24,000 (or $38,400) on top chefs, spending £3,000 (or $4,800) a week for two months
  • £12,000 (or $19,200) on three Evian water baths with rose petals at £4,000 (or 6,400) a time.
  • £6,500 (or $10,400) on 10 oxygen facials at £650 ($1040) each.
  • £6,000 (or $9,600) on three microablation and triphasic combination facials, priced £2,000 ($3,200) each. Said to minimize wrinkles, sculpt the face and stave off acne.

TOTAL: £102,100 (or $163,630)

Spears has been married twice. Her first marriage that took place in January 2004 to childhood friend Jason Alexander was annulled 55 hours after the couple eloped in Las Vegas. She married her second husband Kevin Federline (her former backup dancer) in September 2004, and their marriage ended in divorce in 2007. Spears and Federline have two sons together (Sean Preston and Jayden James), and the former spouses' divorce and custody battle over the kids caused a lot of scandal. After she reportedly spent time in rehab, Spears lost custody of the kids in 2007, and she had a well-publicized psychiatric breakdown that led to her hospitalization in 2008.

Because of her psychiatric problems, Spears has been declared by the court system as mentally incompetent to make decisions about her life and career as an independent adult, so she has been placed under a conservatorship (headed by her father) since 2008.

Trawick, a former agent at William Morris Endeavor, began dating Spears in 2009, while he was still her agent. He has since resigned as her agent, although he reportedly acted as her agent in negotiations for Spears to be an "X Factor" U.S. judge. In April 2012, Trawick became co-conservator (with Spears father) of Spears' personal affairs. Her father is still the sole conservator for her business affairs.

"The X Factor" U.S. is reportedly paying $15 million a year for Spears to be a judge on the show.
