Britney Spears told to clean up her image on 'X-Factor' - Examiner.com

Britney Spears has apparently been told to clean up her image for her new television gig. According to the New York Post, sources said that after Spears turned up at one early taping of the "X-Factor" appearing to not be wearing a bra, “It was made clear she is expected to be impeccably dressed and made-up for the show. And none of those ragged hair extensions.” Simon Cowell is laying down the law.

Apparently that’s all it took because Spears has reportedly looked amazing ever since the warning from the boss.

It’s not surprising that the young pop star needs direction. There have been claims that there are medical documents outlining the condition and treatment of a disorder affecting Spears' personality that can affect her state of mind. Bipolar? It has been suggested on more than one occasion but, does it really matter what it is?

A conservatorship has been in place for years for the pop star which consists of two components; personal and business. After four years of complete control, her father Jamie now shares duties with her fiancé Jason Trawick. They jointly make life decisions for the songstress as well as business decisions involving money and career.

So, who’s responsible for making sure she looks presentable before leaving the house? Since no one was taking responsibility for that area, Simon took charge of it.

Britney showed up with no bra on? Christina displays her goods every week on “The Voice”. Her hair extensions were a little ragged? At least she’s got hair these days!

Suddenly, watching Britney Spears on the “X-Factor” appears as though it might actually be more entertaining than watching Mariah Carey duke it out with Nicki Minaj.
