Oh, baby, baby, FOX’s The X Factor gives new judge Britney Spears the spotlight in its latest promo for the upcoming season.

The pop star shows that she can deliver a compliment â€" “That was absolutely incredible.” â€" and she can bring your world down around you â€" “I want to know who let you onstage.”

What else does the new promo reveal about the singer?

While the 30-year-old says, “It’s really kind of hard to tell people no,” she’s willing to overlook that for the chance to help others with their own musical aspirations.

She says, “It’s a great process to be a part of, to be able to help someone create their dream.”

Spears officially joined the show in May after much speculation over who would replace fired Season 1 judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. Disney Channel star and singer Demi Lovato joined the panel (along with returning judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid) soon after.

The X Factor returns Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 8 PM on FOX.
