The Toxic hitmaker, 42, took a brief break from social media as it emerged a judge had ruled she should pay the legal fees of her dad Jamie Spears following the bitter battle over the end of her conservatorship. Britney, who will end up footing a £1.6million ($2million) bill in legal fees amid the long-running legal dispute, said there was "no justice".
She's since returned with a series of posts showing her relaxing and being comforted by one of her horses, and in a video uploaded on Monday, Britney can be seen dancing around while wearing a white and yellow strapless dress, and pulling the top down to show fans her cleavage.

However, fans were left confused by her caption on the post, which read: “Me this morning before riding!!! Psss are we still playing chess???â€
Some speculated the cryptic caption was about her father, after Britney launched into a fiery tirade on Instagram following the judge’s ruling, but then quickly deleted her post. While others suggested her caption was aimed at her mysterious on-again/off-again lover, who she reportedly began dating earlier this year.
Britney’s return to Instagram comes after she took aim at her family in the hours after she was told to pay her father’s legal fees, and shared her frustration over the “injusticeâ€. She fumed: “My family hurt me!!! There has been no justice and probably never will be!!! The people who sat and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are smooth sailing!!!â€

The post was later deleted. In her emotional caption, Britney suggested she had not seen either her father or mother, Lynne Spears, since the conservatorship ended in November 2021, but she did reunite with her mum in December last year.
The singer’s conservatorship ran for 13 years, and she reflected on her heartbreaking experience in her memoir, The Woman In Me. “I became a robot. But not just a robot â€" a sort of child-robot. I had been so infantilised that I was losing pieces of what made me feel like myself,†she recalled.
