Hackers post bogus listing for Britney Spears’ $9M mansion

Oops — they shouldn't have done that at all.

That's the song pop star-turned-tabloid target Britney Spears is singing after an apparent hack of the MLS system in the Los Angeles area led to a false listing of her mansion in suburban Thousand Oaks, TMZ reported.

The listing went up with a price just under $9 million for the 13,200-square-foot home. Other real estate sites, including Realtor.com and Zillow.com followed suit, eventually setting off a social media storm worthy of the drama-laden diva.

The subject of the false listing appears to be the same Italianate manor on a 20-acre chunk of land that Spears bought for $7.4 million in 2015.

It remains unclear who was behind the false listing, or any motive behind the move. A listing by Spears wouldn't be any surprise in Southern California, where she has made a bit of a cottage industry of buying, listing and selling mansions in various high-end enclaves of the region, including Calabasas, Beverly Hills and Ventura County-based Thousand Oaks.

Spears' management noticed the bogus listing and got it removed after checking with several big-name agents who were named in it, according to TMZ. Each of the agents said they were unaware of the listing.

Halsey Says She Regrets 'Coming Back' to Music After Seeing Criticism of 'Lucky' Song

Published: 10:44 AM PDT, July 31, 2024

Halsey is tired of the mean fans.

On Tuesday, the "Lucky" singer took to her Tired and Lonely Muse Tumblr account to write a message to the fans who have been flooding her timelines and comments with hate -- instead of support.

"My own fans are hands down meaner to me than any other people on the planet. Not speaking for all of you, of course. But it used to be just a minority that were awful to me and now it seems like a majority have only stuck around to chime in occasionally with their opinion of how much they hate me or how awful I am," the 29-year-old wrote. "It's hard to want to engage in a space that is completely devoid of any kindness, sympathy, patience; or to be honest human decency. Especially after years of hiding from the interactions for fear that this EXACT thing would happen. I don't know man. I almost lost my life. I am not gonna do anything that doesn't make me happy anymore. I can't spiritually afford it."

Halsey continued, "When I got sick all I could think about was getting better so I could come back and be a part of THIS again, but I don't even know what *this* is anymore and I want to crawl in a hole and I regret coming back."

The "Without You" singer didn't further comment. Halsey's latest post comes after her latest song "Lucky" sparked conversation and controversy -- and even a response from Britney Spears.

The single from her upcoming album -- which samples Spears' 2000 hit of the same name -- documents her struggles with fame, being a mom and her battle with her recent illness. In the video, Halsey sports bright pink hair and channels Spears in her early '00s era.

Following the release of the single, a now-deleted message appeared on Spears' X (formally known as Twitter) account condemning the single's release. However, Spears took to the account and clarified that Halsey had her full support, and that she didn't post that message.

"Fake news !!! That was not me on my phone !!! I love Halsey and that's why I deleted it 🌹 !!!," Spears wrote on July 26.

Halsey felt the love from the GRAMMY-winning pop star and sent it right back in her own tweet.

"And I love Britney!!!! I always have and always will," the "Bad At Love" singer tweeted. "You were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired. And you continue to inspire me everyday."

Following the song's release, Halsey took to Instagram to share its importance and the impact making the video had on her.

"The lucky music video is out, and it's a lot of feelings happening over here. it was really challenging to incorporate so many conflicting emotions in just a few minutes. this campaign has been fun because I WANT to have fun, but I made lot of this art when I was suffering. I have so many people to thank for being a part of this monumental moment in my life," she wrote. "From the bottom of my heart thank you @giancarla.coppola , pascale , and @simonrex415 and my entire team for making it happen. ⭐️"

In June, Halsey emotionally announced her return to music. The singer released her single, "The End," in which she sings about finding love amid a health battle. While the "Eastside" singer didn't share her exact diagnosis, she tagged the Lupus Research Alliance and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in her post.

Halsey also got support from the man she sings about, her boyfriend, Avan Jogia, who celebrated her in the comments, writing, "I love you and I'm so proud of you."

Ozzy Osbourne Apologizes To Britney Spears For Roasting Her Dancing Skills

Ozzy Osbourne tried to walk back the hellraising insults he made about Britney Spears' dancing skills, but not before throwing just a tad more fuel on the fire.

During a new episode of "The Osbournes" podcast, the rock star, 75, dished out an apology to the pop star, 42, for slamming her dance videos on social media earlier this month.

"Britney, I really owe you an apology, I'm so sorry for making that comment," the Black Sabbath alum said during the July 30 episode. "However, it would be better if you didn't do the same fucking dance every day. Change a few movements."

Osbourne's atonement came after he went viral for saying he was tired of seeing "poor old Britney Spears dancing on YouTube every fucking day," on the podcast's July 16 episode.

"You know, it's sad. Very, very sad," he added at the time.

Last year, Spears posted an Instagram video of hers elf dancing with knives, worrying fans. The "Womanizer" singer, who was released from a severely restrictive 13-year long conservatorship in 2021, brushed off their concerns, telling her followers to "lighten up" and claiming the knives were fake.

The pop star clapped back in a since-d eleted message on Instagram, writing she wanted to "tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly fuck off!!!" Entertainment Weekly reported on July 18.

At first, Osborne's family sided with him. During the July 16 podcast, his daughter Kelly said she felt "so sorry" for Spears, and his wife Sharon called Spears "a poor little thing."

During this week's episode, though, Kelly stepped in to defend Spears against her father's pointed advice.

"Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you happy, and I am sorry if any of us offended you," Kelly Osborne said.

Sharon agreed, noting, "I like Britney a lot."

But Ozzy doubled down, continuing, "I love Britney Spears, but it's the same dance every day. I really do apologize. I love you, and I think you're beautiful."

"But mix it up," son Jack Osbourne chimed in.

The former reality star recapped his apology to the "Toxic" singer in a clip of the podcast episode shared on Instagram.

"Sorry, Britney — we still think you rock!" the rocker captioned the post.

Ozzy Osbourne offered a heartfelt apology to Britney Spears on The Osbournes podcast on Tuesday, July 30. The metal icon, 75, and his family had many kind words for the "Toxic" singer, 42, after she clapped back following a discussion about her dancing videos on a previous podcast episode. While running through topics to discuss, Kelly Osbourne, 39, chimed in to bring up the singer. "Can we apologize to Britney Spears?" she said.

Ozzy immediately leapt in to offer a very sincere apology.  "Britney, I really owe you an apology. I'm really sorry for making a comment," he said. Even though the Ozzman sounded apologetic, he did have some advice for Britney to make the videos more interesting. "However, it would be better if you didn't do the same f**king dance everyday," he admitted. "Change a few movements."

The family seemed a little shocked by the nature of the apology. Jack Osbourne couldn't help but laugh, and Kelly offered a bit more of a traditional apology. "I was going to say, 'Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you happy, and I'm so sorry if any of us offended you,'" she said.

Even though Ozzy doubled down on the dance comments, he did offers some very kind words to Britney. "I love Britney Spears, but it's the same dance everyday," he said. "I didn't mean that to be offensive. I really do apologize. I love you, and I think you're beautiful."

The feud between Britney and the Osbournes began when Ozzy called her out on a previous episode of the podcast. "I'm fed up of seeing poor old Britney Spears [dancing] on YouTube every f**king day. It's sad, very, very sad," he said. Other members of the family called Britney's dancing "sad" and expressed concern for her.

After the podcast clip, Britney wrote a lengthy post on Instagram, which has since been deleted, calling out the family. "Number 1) I hardly ever dance… and number 2) I'm not poor at all," she wrote. "Tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly f**k off."

‘We still think you rock’: The Osbournes apologize to Britney Spears for mocking her dancing on Instagram

If you thought music beef peaked with Drake and Kendrick, I've got some bad news: The Osbournes and Britney Spears are feuding.

If you follow Britney Spears on social media, you know that girl likes to move: dance-move, that is. On the regular, the "Oops! I Did It Again" singer does it again, dancing for her followers, usually with a pretty similar shimmy and shake. No harm, no foul.

Well, Osbournes Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack had some thoughts about these dance moves on a recent episode of their podcast, The Osbournes Podcast.

During the moment, Ozzy mentioned that he was "fed up with seeing poor old Britney Spears" dancing on her socials.

"You know, it's sad. Very, very sad," said Ozzy from his ginormous glass house.

The rest of the family backed him up, with Sharon calling her a "poor little thing." And the podcast continued.

Welp, word got to Britney about this conversation, and she took to Instagram to respond.

While her account has since been paused, Britney begins her Instagram response post by referencing Kate Beckinsale's 2001 movie Serendipity. She writes that "incredibly cruel people were talking about [Beckinsale] needs more age-appropriate content."

(Britney was referencing Beckinsale's tendency to take on social media trolls who tend to get on her for what she posts.)

She really said, "YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?!"👏🏼 #britneyspears #ozzyosbourne #gossip #drama #tea ♬ Britney Spears FIRES BACK at Ozzy Osbourne – Joshua Pingley

Spears then reacted to the Osbournes' complaints. She said she hardly ever posts dances and replied to Sharon Osbourne's "a poor little thing" remark with, "I'm not poor at all!!!"

Britney continued by writing about what dance means to her: "I taught dance class last week to a couple of teenagers… a lot of the kids were too thin and some were too big," she said. "I know what it's like to be judged so it's a ridiculous and stupid subject initially but I think it's important to HELP EACH OTHER and invite each other to places that help our souls to grow!!!" Britney wrapped up the note by referring to the Osbournes as "the most boring family known to mankind" and instructing them to "kindly f*** off." Damn Britney, you're toxic, I'm slippin' under!

The Osbournes apologize to Britney Spears

The Osbournes got wind of this comment and decided to apologize on their show. But even in apology, Ozzy's gonna Ozzy.

"Britney, I really owe you an apology," said Ozzy. "I'm so sorry, for making that comment. However, it would be better if you didn't do the same f*cking dance every day. Change a few movements," the 75-year-old bastion of human movement stated, concluding, "I love you and I think you're beautiful."

"Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you happy and I'm so sorry if any of us offended you," said Kelly, with Sharon adding, "Listen, I like Britney a lot."

It would appear Sharon actually does like Britney a lot, as evidenced by a 2023 interview with Bill Maher in which she defends the pop music icon:

Hopefully, this puts this vicious ordeal to bed and we, as a society, can move on. To be honest, I'd really like to see Ozzy give Britney some choreo tips.

Britney Spears Teams Up with Welcome Skateboards for Custom Decks

The post Britney Spears Teams Up with Welcome Skateboards for Custom Decks appeared first on Consequence.

Britney Spears is being celebrated with a limited edition line of skate decks and merch launched in collaboration with Welcome Skateboards.

In addition to the cover of Spears' debut album, …Baby One More Time, the custom decks and apparel feature iconic images like the artist's 2001 VMAs performance when she wore a snake around her neck. Lyrics like "I still believe" and "not that innocent" also appear on the available hoodies, t-shirts, and trucker hats.

Take a look at the skate decks below and check out the full collection at Welcome Skateboards. You can also pick up other official Britney Spears merch here.

Spears hasn't released a new studio album since 2016's Glory and said earlier this year that she will "never return to the music industry."

However, Spears did publish her first memoir, The Woman in Me, in 2023. Besides opening up about how she felt "infantilized" during her conservatorship, Spears revealed she had an abortion with Justin Timberlake and recalled a cringe-inducing moment between Timberlake and Ginuwine. Grab your copy here.

Though it hasn't officially been announced as of yet, Spears previously hinted at releasing a second volume in 2024.

Ozzy Osbourne apologises to Britney Spears after she kindly told him to ‘f**k off’

Ozzy Osbourne has officially apologized to Britney Spears (Picture: Getty Images)

Ozzy Osbourne has issued an apology to Britney Spears after publicly taking aim at her dancing.

Ever since her conservatorship ended, the Toxic singer has been posting endless videos in which she is dancing away and living her best life.

While fans have been hyping up the often steamy displays, including one where the 42-year-old pop icon wielded knives, the Black Sabbath frontman previously slammed her moves on a podcast, explaining that he was 'fed up' by the clips.

The 75-year-old also criticized her for posting 'every f**king day', leading her to hit back, telling him to 'kindly f**k off!' earlier this month.

On the latest episode of the Osbournes' family podcast – which he shares with wife Sharon Osbourne and their children, Jack and Kelly Osbourne – talk quickly turned to the heated exchange.

'Can we apologize to Britney Spears?' Kelly begged, as her dad insisted: 'Britney, I really owe you an apology.

'I'm so sorry for making that comment.'

Things quickly took a turn when he continued: 'However, it would be better if you didn't do the same f**king dance every day. Change a few movements.'

Jack burst out laughing at the tangent, as Kelly swooped in: 'Alright, I was going to say, Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you happy, and I'm so sorry if any of us offended you.'

'Listen, I like Britney a lot,' Sharon interjected, as Ozzy agreed: 'I love Britney Spears but it's the same dance every day.'

'No, sometimes she has knives,' Kelly quipped, before the rock legend added: 'I really do apologize. I love you, and I think you're beautiful.'

Over to you, Brit…

She does have a penchant for posting videos of her outfits or short clips of impromptu dances to songs, having been given autonomy back over her life after 13 years.

The drama kicked off during a recent episode of the podcast – his family didn't discuss the conservatorship from which Britney was freed in the past two years but instead called it all 'sad'.

Ozzy slammed the 'poor old' Piece Of Me hitmaker for posting 'every f**king day,' which drew the attention of her fierce supporters.

'I feel sorry for her,' Kelly said, to which her dad replied: 'You know it's sad, very, very sad.'

Sharon called the whole thing 'heartbreaking', although it was unclear if they were referencing Britney's mental health struggles or her dancing videos at this point.

The conversation came out hours after Britney had shared a video in which she danced to Madonna's I'm Addicted in a tiny sparkling red and gold bikini.

In response to Ozzy's original comment fans told the singer to simply 'stop watching' if Britney's dancing bothered him that much, pointing out that Britney was just living her life in freedom.

Some even went so far as to call him a 'hypocrite' for slamming someone's harmless behaviour, given his notorious rock and roll past.

'Very hypocritical of him to talk about her in any way,' said Kiddoinred on X as Katie Rodgers cuttingly replied: 'He talks too much for a one hit wonder.'

A clip from The Osbournes was shared by user luckybutnoluck, in which Ozzy dreams he finds a young Britney on his bed and goes off in search of 'viagra'.

'Oh but it was okay to act s3xy when she was half your age wasn't it, you creep [sic.],' they brutally captioned the tweet.

'They could also just not watch. Problem solved,' vented user youwannakomova — a sentiment which was shared by plenty of other fans.

'Let her f**king dance!' said Courtney Enlow while Brad Cunningham added: 'Hey @OzzyOsbourne it's a simple way to fix that, DONT WATCH, she's doing what she wants to do, she's not here to post what you want.'

Britney later hit back at his remarks – and defended Kate Beckinsale in the same breath – writing that the Osbournes are 'the most boring family known to mankind' and telling them to 'kindly f*** off!!!' in a long message.

She posted the rant to her 42.2million Instagram followers that began: 'Have you guys seen the movie Serendipity with Kate Beckinsale? Well let me tell you … if you haven't you definitely should!!!

'I adore Kate Beckinsale especially because she's from London!!! I realized how incredibly cruel people were talking about her IG saying she needs more age appropriate content … she's in her fifties and I thought it was pretty bad*** how she responded with a mini bow in her hair looking literally 4 years old!!!'

She's referring to Kate's tendency to post dancing videos not dissimilar from Britney's, which some people have criticized.

Britney also defended Kate Beckinsale in her post (Picture: Instagram) The singer called the Osbourne's the 'most boring family known to mankind' (Picture: Instagram) Spears concluded by telling Ozzy to 'f*** off !!!' (Picture: Instagram)

Britney continued in the lengthy message to say she's 'serving back these wise a** a**holes just as Kate did!!!'

She said that she 'taught a dance class last week to a couple of teenagers' and that she feels it's important for people 'to HELP EACH OTHER.'

Ozzy Osbourne Apologizes to Britney Spears, Gives Feedback to ‘Change a Few Movements’

After Ozzy Osbourne and his family complained about Britney Spears' dancing videos during an episode of The Osbournes Podcast, the singer issued an apology, along with some constructive criticism.

In an episode of The Osbournes Podcast, released Monday, Ozzy Osbourne said, "I'm so sorry for making that comment. However, it would be better if you didn't do the same fucking dance every day. Change a few movements."

Kelly Osbourne quickly followed her father's comment with, "I was gonna say Britney never stop dancing, I love your dancing. It makes you so happy and I'm sorry if we offended you." Ozzy Osbourne added that he is a fan of the artist but said that her dance moves were repetitive, to which Kelly Osbourne quipped, "No, sometimes she has knives."

The apology follows Ozzy Osbourne's July 16 comment on The Osbournes Podcast, where he said he was "fed up with seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube. Every fucking day." Afterward, he called her dance videos "very, very sad." His family members agreed.

The "Oops!…I Did It Again" star responded in a statement, referring to rom-com Serendipity star Kate Beckinsale, and praised the actress for standing up to critics online, calling it "pretty badass." She continued by sharing, "I hardly ever dance" and responded to Sharon Osbourne, who called her "a poor little thing," by writing "I'm not poor at all!!!"

"I know what it's like to be judged," Spears wrote in a statement. "But I think it's important to help each other and invite each other to places that help our souls grow !!!… What are you gonna do to help someone out and bring their dreams to life besides being like me and Kate's haters saying we're too old or don't have appropriate content ??? Do you think perhaps they might be offended by what they see ???"

Ozzy Osbourne botches apology to Britney Spears, suggests she stop doing ‘the same f—king dance every day’

The Osbournes are apologizing to the legendary Ms. Britney Spears. Sort of.

The famous family offered their mea culpa to Spears, 42, on the latest episode of their "The Osbournes Podcast" after criticizing the singer's "sad" Instagram dance moves — an appraisal that earned them Spears' ire.

"Sorry, Britney – we still think you rock!" Ozzy captioned the Instagram post with a clip from their most recent podcast, in which they tried to make amends with the pop princess.

"Can we apologize to Britney Spears?" Kelly Osbourne, 39, began.

"Britney, I really owe you an apology," Ozzy Osbourne, 75, replied. "I'm so sorry for making that comment," he added, referring to his previous aspersion.

But the legendary rock star was unable to keep things purely positive. "However, it would be better if you didn't do the same f—king dance every day," he said. "Change a few movements."

In the video clip, Ozzy's son Jack, 38, let out a loud laugh after hearing that. Kelly, on the other hand, looked mortified.

"Alright, I was gonna say, 'Britney, never stop dancing, I love your dancing. It makes you happy, and I am so sorry if any of us offended you," she stated.

Meanwhile, Sharon, 71, also appeared a bit squeamish at Ozzy's half-apology, saying, "Listen, I like Britney."

But before she could continue, Ozzy interjected, "I love Britney Spears! But it's the same dance every day."

Kelly then quipped, "No. Sometimes she has knives." That remark sent Jack howling once more.

The Black Sabbath frontman tried to bring things back around by saying, "I really do apologize. I love you, and I think you're beautiful."

Jack, however, seemingly unable to help himself, added, "But mix it up."

The Osbournes' olive branch to Spears comes over a week after the "Oops! … I Did It Again" hitmaker slammed the family for critiquing the videos she often posts to Instagram of her dancing, usually filmed in the foyer of her mansion.

Ozzy said he was "fed up of seeing poor Britney Spears on YouTube … Every f–king day." He continued, "It's sad, very, very sad."

Jack shared his parents' sentiment, saying the whole thing is "very, very sad," and later declaring, "Save Britney."

For her part, Kelly said, "I feel so sorry for her."

Unsurprisingly, Spears was none too pleased with the Osbourne family's remarks

Spears' post began by asking her fans if they had seen the Kate Beckinsale movie "Serendipity." She then praised the actress for clapping back at online trolls who criticize her for, in Spears' words, not posting "age appropriate" content.

"Not as bad as some of my comments saying it's sad that I'm as old as I am and I'm dancing every single day on my IG!!" Spears said of the negative comments Beckinsale receives on her social posts. As for her dancing videos, Spears said that she "hardly ever" dances.

"I know what it's like to be judged," the Grammy winner went on. "But I think it's important to help each other and invite each other to places that help our souls grow !!!"

She continued, "What are you gonna do to help someone out and bring their dreams to life besides being like me and Kate's haters saying we're too old or don't have appropriate content ??? Do you think perhaps they might be offended by what they see ???"

Ozzy Osbourne Apologizes to Britney Spears But Still Wishes She’d Change Up Her Dancing

The post Ozzy Osbourne Apologizes to Britney Spears But Still Wishes She'd Change Up Her Dancing appeared first on Consequence.

Ozzy Osbourne and his family have apologized to Britney Spears for comments they made about the dancing videos she's posted on her social media channels. However, the Prince of Darkness still wishes she wouldn't do "the same dance every day."

A couple weeks ago, the Osbournes discussed Spears' dancing videos on their podcast, with Ozzy saying, "I'm fed up of seeing poor old Britney Spears [dancing] on YouTube every fuckin' day. It's sad, very, very sad." Ozzy's son Jack joked, "Save Britney," while daughter Kelly added, "I know. I feel so sorry for her."

That didn't sit well with Spears, who promptly responded, "I'm gonna … tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly fuck off!"

In a promo video for the newest episode of The Osbournes podcast, the family is seen apologizing to Britney, but still poking fun at the pop star in the process.

Kelly starts out by saying, "Can we apologize to Britney Spears?," with Ozzy remarking, "Oh yeah! Britney, I really owe you an apology."

The clip then replays the family's original comments before returning to the apology, in which Ozzy adds, "I'm so sorry for making that comment. However, it would be better if you didn't do the same fuckin' dance every day. Change a few movements!"

Cut to Jack laughing hysterically, followed by Kelly attempting to make the apology more sincere: "I was gonna say, 'Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you happy. And I'm so sorry if any of us offended you.'"

Sharon Osbourne then chimes in with, "Listen, I like Britney a lot," with Ozzy adding, "I love Britney Spears, but it's the same dance every day."

Kelly then quips, "No, sometimes she has knives," referring to an infamous Instagram clip in which Britney danced with knives in her hands.

Ozzy concludes, "I really do apologize. I love you and I think you're beautiful." However, Jack couldn't let it end there, adding, "But mix it up!"

For what it's worth, Spears has shut down her Instagram page, and hasn't posted on TikTok since early June.  The Osbournes' promo for the new episode of their podcast can be seen below.

Vintage Clip of RHONJ Star Danielle Cabral Performing for Britney Spears on TRL

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Cabral is far from shy. She is outspoken, gregarious, and fun-loving. While this is her sophomore season on RHONJ, Danielle has been in front of a camera before. In fact, in 2003, she hit the TRL stage and performed for Pop Princess Britney Spears.

Season 14 of Jersey has been a mixed bag for Danielle. Her business, Boujie Kidz, was relaunched. On the negative side, she was involved in a physical altercation with Jennifer Aydin. The incident led to the demise of her friendship with Jennifer, and probably with Teresa Giudice, too. But Danielle will always have TRL.

Danielle recreated her performance for Britney in an Instagram Reel once the original clip resurfaced. In the original video from TRL, Danielle performed an original rap for Britney that covered everything in the pop star's life. It even referenced her boo, Justin Timberlake, and her infamous fairy tattoo. Danielle sported a red shirt with a picture of Britney on it, pulled up to expose her midriff, a backward baseball cap, and jeans.

"For my idol, the @britneyspears," Danielle captioned the Reel. "The year was 2003, and @mtv was IT! I was 16, and I was picked to compete on stage for the title of Britney's #1fan." Danielle must have been next-level excited. "I cried. I couldn't believe it!" she wrote.

Danielle continued, "I rushed home and wrote my "rap" on paper and memorized it. Practicing day and night. We filmed in Times Square. My parents weren't allowed in the studio, so they watched from home."

At the taping, the RHONJ star couldn't believe her luck. "I took a deep breath and just went for it. And … I won! I friggin won! THIS was one of the most memorable experiences of my life," Danielle wrote. "Britney was my idol. She was everything to me!"

Naturally, Danielle referenced the fact that the clip could have been reposted to embarrass her. But not this Jersey girl! "I will cherish this memory for the rest of my life! @britneyspears I will dance with you any day of the friggin week, STILL!" Danielle wrote.

Danielle Cabral's father left a sweet comment

But perhaps the sweetest part of this post was the comment Danielle's father, Phillip DiPietro, dropped. The two have been slowly working on repairing their relationship. "As her father I was there every nite when she was rehearsing I cannot say it enough how proud I was then and now. You are a beautiful mother, wife, and person," he wrote. "Keep it real always and may GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WITH HEALTH AND HAPPINESS ALWAYS. I LOVE YOU TO DEATH."

Hopefully, Danielle and her dad can work out their differences.

Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.

TELL US – WHAT DID YOU THINK OF DANIELLE'S TRL PERFORMANCE? DO YOU ADMIRE HOW SHE LIVES HER LIFE OUT LOUD?

Does Britney Spears’ ‘If U Seek Amy’ Reference Amy Winehouse?

Britney Spears' "If U Seek Amy" came out at a time when Amy Winehouse was one of the most famous and controversial singers alive. The tune might allude to Winehouse's public image. Here's a look at the different elements at play in one of the most unusual pop hits of all time.

Britney Spears' 'If U Seek Amy' aligns with Amy Winehouse's public image

"If U Seek Amy" is based around some naughty wordplay. You might find a profane message hidden between the lines if you say the song's title with just the right cadence. Ultimately, Spears used the song to assert her own attractiveness while sassily dismissing the press who had been attacking her for so long.

The use of the name "Amy" in the track could be a reference to Winehouse. The "Rehab" singer dealt with some of the same personal struggles as Spears, and the press was not too kind to her either. "If U Seek Amy" also alludes to the titular Amy smoking, drinking, and clubbing, which aligns with Winehouse's wild child lifestyle. Winehouse also sang about drinking and drugs in several of her songs. With all that in mind, it's possible "If U Seek Amy" was designed to remind listeners of the "Back to Black" star.

What made Britney Spears' song different from an Amy Winehouse song

Of course, there's one big difference between "If U Seek Amy" and a Winehouse song: "If U Seek Amy" isn't retro. Winehouse's music was heavily indebted to artists who peaked during the 1960s and earlier. She even named her first album after Frank Sinatra.

On the other hand, "If U Seek Amy" was very modern when it came out in 2008. It was at the forefront of the dance-pop boom that would take over during the next few years. In addition, it has a stomping hook that would have gone well with the scene kids of the time. For better or worse, 3OH!3 could have written "If U Seek Amy."

How critics and audiences reacted to 'If U Seek Amy'

Despite (or, perhaps, because of) its vulgarities, "If U Seek Amy" garnered acclaim from critics. In his 2002 ranking of all of Spears' songs, Rolling Stone's Rob Sheffield put "If U Seek Amy" at No. 12. That's higher than "Till the World Ends," "Hold It Against Me," or "Circus." "It's the way she snickers — 'Ha-ha, hee-hee, ha-ha-ho!' — that makes this one slightly scary as well as brilliant," Sheffield opined. "'If You Seek Amy' got attention for the playful censor-baiting chorus: 'All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to/ If you seek Amy!' (Say it out loud.) But the beat is even funnier than the words. And by the end, all of the b oys and all of the girls have a point."

"If U Seek Amy" became a modest hit, reaching No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spending 20 weeks on the chart. It appeared on Circus, Spears' big comeback album. That record topped the Billboard 200 for one week, lasting on the chart for 42 weeks in total.

"If U Seek Amy" is one of the best novelty songs ever and it might allude to one of the defining musicians of the 2000s.

Britney Spears says it wasn't her who called Halsey ‘cruel' over song ‘Lucky'

Originally appeared on E! Online

Halsey might not be feeling so lucky.

Britney Spears offered clarification after a message on her X account claimed she felt "bullied" by Halsey's new song "Lucky," which samples Spears' 2000 track of the same name about the difficulties of being famous.

In her version, Halsey—who said she got permission from Spears—details her journey as a "single mom" to son Ender Ridley Aydin, 3, as well as touches on her recent health battles with lupus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.

Shortly after the July 26 statement appeared on Spears' account, the "Toxic" singer deleted the negative reaction and called it "fake news."

"That was not me on my phone !!!" read another July 26 message on X. "I love Halsey and that's why I deleted it."

The original post accused Halsey (real name Ashley Nicolette Frangipane) of creating a music video that felt "illegal and downright cruel."

"For obvious reasons I'm very upset about the Halsey video," read the statement on Spears' X account. "I feel harassed, violated and bullied. I didn't know an artist like her and someone I looked up to and admired would illustrate me in such an ignorant way by tailoring me as a superficial pop star with no heart or concern at all."

Noting that the "I'm a Slave 4 U" singer, 42, has her "own health problems," the post continued by threatening legal action against Halsey.

E! News has reached out to reps for Spears and Halsey for comment but hasn't heard back.

Following Spears' clarification, Halsey responded to the sweet support.

"And I love Britney!!!! I always have and always will," the 29-year-old wrote on X. "You were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired. And you continue to inspire me every day."

According to Halsey, she had received permission from Spears to record the track.

When one fan asked if she had "involved" Spears at all, the "Without Me" singer replied on X July 18, "yes of course! I wouldn't even dream of doing it without her blessing!"

Halsey shared how Spears initially responded to her request in another July 25 tweet, noting, "I wrote her the longest, sappiest, stan letter of all time and she was soooo nice."

Earlier this week, the "Bad At Love" artist also explained just how much the original "Lucky" impacted her growing up as a kid who idolized Spears.

"I remember the first time I heard her sing lucky," Halsey tweeted July 25, "and it hitting me at such a young age that I had no idea what her life was really like. and that feeling resonates with me so much still. I found myself singing it when I started treatment and then I knew I had to do it."

Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez gamble on big money shows in Vegas to revive career

Rival singing legends Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez are gambling on landing big money shows in Las Vegas to revive their careers, writes Mike Parker from Los Angeles.

But both stars face very different odds in their bids to hit the jackpot by landing long-term residency deals worth tens of millions of dollars, according to showbusiness experts.

Britney, 42, is in talks with "at least two" major casino resorts over a £78million deal.

It would mark a comeback to the Vegas stage for the first time since her hugely successful Piece of Me show ran from 2013 to 2017 at Planet Hollywood.

The Oops, I Did It Again singer, who vowed she would "never return" to the music industry and has not appeared live for six years, has spent a fortune in legal fees to break free from her conservatorship order.

A well-placed source confirmed: "She's talking to two top venues and promoters say she is still so much in demand we could see a bidding war break out."

Jenny from the Block singer J.Lo, however, appears to have hit a roadblock to her hopes of a Sin City return following her successful All I Have residency that ran from 2016 to 2018.

It was reported earlier this year that the MGM Grand had teamed up with Live Nation to offer the Hollywood actress and singer, 55, a 90-show deal at a million dollars per show.

But talks have stalled after poor sales of her new album This is Me. Now since its February release, with J.Lo saying she was "completely heartsick and devastated" last month when forced to call off her first American tour in five years.

A source said: "MGM is watching her not doing well and they are very nervous.

"A blockbuster deal now looks shaky at best."

Halsey Has the Perfect Reaction to Britney Spears’ Retracted Criticism and “Fake News” Tweets

While the "Princess of Pop", Britney Spears earned that title by producing songs like "Baby One More Time" and "Oops!.. I Did It Again." With the songs featured across her nine studio albums, the star sold over 150 million records worldwide and received awards from the Grammys, the Billboard Music Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards. Although stepping away from the stage, Spears supposedly criticized Halsey for her new music video "Lucky."

For fans of Spears, they know the music video for "Lucky", which featured the singer. But on Friday, Halsey released her music video with the same title. And while some might believe it merely a coincidence, the video featured more than a few moments that appeared to pay homage to the pop star.

In a now-deleted post, Spears shared her thoughts on the video and Halsey, writing, "For obvious reasons I'm very upset about the Halsey video. I feel harassed, violated, and bullied. I didn't know an artist like her and someone I looked up to and admired would illustrate me in such an ignorant way by tailoring me as a superficial pop star with no heart or concern at all."

Continuing to speak her mind about the music video, Spears insisted, "I have my own health problems which is why I took down my IG account yesterday. I will definitely be putting it back up to show I CARE. I'm speaking with my lawyers today to see what can be done on this matter. It feels illegal and down right cruel."

Britney Spears Claims "Fake News" After Deleting Post

While quickly deleting the post, Spear explained how the original statement was not hers. Deeming it fake news, she wrote, "Fake news!!! That was not me on my phone!!! I love Halsey and that's why I deleted it!!"

Although seeming to clear the air surrounding the new music video for "Lucky", Halsey shared her own thoughts surrounding Spears. Showering her with praise, the singer wrote, "I love Britney!!!! I always have and always will you were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired. And you continue to inspire me everyday."

According to Halsey, Spears listened to the song early on and even gave the singer her blessing.

Halsey references Britney Spears’ iconic ‘Toxic’ look in new ‘Lucky’ music video

An outfit like this should wear a warning.

Halsey released the video for her new Britney Spears-inspired song, “Lucky,” on Friday â€" and along with sampling the track, the pop star also channels Spears’ famous crystal-covered “Toxic” look in the Y2K-themed clip.

The 29-year-old “Bad at Love” singer, who uses “she/they” pronouns, shimmers in a sheer catsuit strikingly similar to Spears’ in the video.

Halsey paid homage to Britney Spears in their new “Lucky” video. Halsey/YouTube Britney Spears wore crystals all over her body in her 2004 “Toxic” video. Britney Spears/YouTube Halsey put their own spin on the look. Halsey/YouTube

While Spears actually had crystals glued onto her skin in 2004’s “Toxic” video, Halsey wore a nude body stocking covered in strategically placed stones.

Bedazzled panties and diamond jewelry added even more shine.

The “Closer” singer wore their bright pink hair in a long, straight style pinned back with two era-appropriate hair clips.

Halsey’s “Lucky” samples Spears’ song of the same name. Halsey/YouTube Spears’ “Lucky” video was released in 2000. Britney Spears/YouTube Halsey rocked hot pink hair throughout the clip. Halsey/YouTube

Halsey also made plenty of other Y2K style references in the “Lucky” video â€" which samples Spears’ 2000 track of the same name â€" including a Gwen Stefani-inspired twisted updo and a denim micro-miniskirt teamed with an oversized belt.

Fans were loving the Spears references, like one who commented, “Halsey in her Britney era! I’m here for it!! The iconic Toxic Crystal bodysuit!!” on Halsey’s Instagram post Wednesday.

“Wait.., this is ICONIC! I just know this is going to be playing a great tribute to Brit. I hope she loves it too,” a second Instagram user wrote.

“The day I found out Britney never wore a body suit and just had gems glued to her body was the day my brain broke,” another fan added.

The video includes plenty more era-appropriate ensembles. Halsey/YouTube The visuals and lyrics for “Lucky” also address Halsey’s recent health struggles. Halsey/YouTube

Per a press release, Spears, 42, heard the tune early in its production and gave Halsey her blessing to sample her song.

The “Lucky” video and lyrics also reference Halsey’s battle with lupus and a rare lymphoproliferative disorder, along with her 2021 pregnancy.

“I shaved my head four times because I wanted to / And then I did it one more time ’cause I got sick / And I thought I changed so much, nobody would noticed it, and no one did / And I left the doctor’s office full of tears / Became a single mom at my premiere / And I told everybody I was fine for a whole damn year / And that’s the biggest lie of my career,” they sing.

While Halsey’s been keeping a relatively low profile amid their recent health struggles â€" even sharing earlier this summer that they’re “lucky to be alive” â€" the star’s had a busy few weeks.

In late June, she attended the red carpet premiere of her movie “MaXXXine” in a show-stopping gold sequined Bronx and Banco look.

And earlier this month, they sparked engagement rumors by showing off a new sparkler on their left hand while picnicking with boyfriend Avan Jogia.

What Britney Spears Found Hilarious About ‘…Baby One More Time’

"...Baby One More Time" was Britney Spears' first No. 1 single. Here's what made it different from all her other chart-toppers.

Britney Spears' "…Baby One More Time" is one of the most famous music videos of all time (even if it's a touch problematic). The "Womanizer" singer explained what made that music video different from all the clips she made afterward. In addition, she said one aspect of the video was hilarious to her.

Britney Spears' '…Baby One More Time' had an unusual cameo

In her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, Spears discussed the filming of "…Baby One More Time." "The director for the video, Nigel Dick, was open to my ideas," she recalled. "In addition to the school bell cuing the start of the dancing, I added that it was important that there be cute boys." The "Hold It Against Me" singer decided that the dancers in the video should start out wearing school clothes so the clip would feel more exciting when they went outside and wore casual clothes. Spears also had her teacher, Miss Fe, play a frumpy teacher in the clip. The "Toxic" singer found that hilariou s.

Britney Spears said making music was easier for her back then

"Making that video was the most fun part of doing that first album," the "Everytime" singer wrote. "That's probably the moment in my life when I had the most passion for music. I was unknown, and I had nothing to lose if I messed up."

Spears listed some perks of being a nobody. "There is so much freedom in being anonymous," she opined. "I could look out at a crowd who'd never seen me before and think, 'You don't know who I am yet." Soon enough, Spears would become so famous that it was impossible for her to make any mistake, no matter how small, without facing intense scrutiny.

"It was kind of liberating that I didn't really have to care if I made mistakes," she added. "For me, performing wasn't about posing and smiling. Onstage, I was like a basketball player driving down the court. I had ball sense, street sense. I was fearless. I knew when to take my shots."

What made '…Baby One More Time' different fro all the Princess of Pop's other hits

"…Baby One More Time" became the first of Spears' five Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles. The others are "Womanizer," "3," "Hold It Against Me," and "S&M." "…Baby One More Time" was the only one of those songs to top the charts for multiple weeks. The tune was No. 1 for two of its 32 weeks on the chart, making it Spears' biggest hit in the United States.

The song appeared on the album of the same name. …Baby One More Time topped the Billboard 200 for six weeks, lasting on the chart for 103 weeks in total. While the title track of …Baby One More Time overshadowed all of its other songs, the record produced one more top 10 single: the underrated "(You Drive Me) Crazy." That single reached No. 10 and spent 20 weeks on the chart. It sounds a lot like "…Baby One More Time" but it has a little more bounce and a little more sass.

Perhaps the reason why the world loved "…Baby One More Time" so much is because people could tell Spears put her heart and soul into it.

Britney Spears And Halsey Shut Down Rumors That The Pair Were Supposedly Tied Up In A ‘Lucky’ Music Video Lawsuit

Over the past few years, Britney Spears has spent an ungodly amount of time in court (just look at her conservatorship battle). But rumors claim that the "Mind Your Business" singer was prepared to return, this time over her musical works.

However, yesterday (July 26), Britney Spears shut down the claims that she launched a lawsuit against fellow entertainer Halsey over their "Lucky" single.

"Fake news, that was not me on my phone. I love Halsey and that's why I deleted it 🌹," she wrote.

Before the track's release or video, which both sampled elements of Spears' 2000 song, Halsey told friends they received the approval from their idol.

So, when outlets such as TMZ initially reported a potential legal battle brewing, supporters were confused. But now that Spears has refuted those whispers, all is good between the pop babes.

Halsey even took to their X (formerly Twitter) page to echoed Spears' admiration. "And I love Britney," they wrote. "I always have and always will 💕 you were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired. And you continue to inspire me every day." they replied.

Britney Spears blasts Halsey for channeling her in ‘Lucky’ video before immediately taking it back: ‘Fake news’

Britney Spears blasted Halsey for allegedly portraying her as a "superficial pop star with no heart" in their new "Lucky" music video — and immediately took it all back.

After Halsey (who uses she/they pronouns) released their music video, Spears took to X to threaten legal action.

"For obvious reasons I'm very upset about the Halsey video," Spears, 42, wrote Friday evening. "I feel harassed, violated and bullied."

Britney Spears, pictured here in her "Lucky" music video from 2000, called out Halsey's new "Lucky" music video, which was released Friday. Britney Spears/YouTube On Friday night, she tweeted (seen above) that her fellow pop star's video made her out to be a "superficial pop star with no heart." Britney Spears/X

"I didn't know an artist like her and someone I looked up to and admired would illustrate me in such an ignorant way by tailoring me as a superficial pop star with no heart or concern at all," she continued.

Spears noted that she is currently dealing with "health problems," which was why she deleted her Instagram. However, she plans to rejoin the platform to show she "care[s]."

"I'm speaking with my lawyers today to see what can be done on this matter," she concluded. "It feels illegal and downright cruel."

However, as seen above, Spears quickly backtracked on X. Britney Spears/X The singer, pictured here in her "Lucky" video, claimed she did not send out the criticism from her phone. Britney Spears/YouTube

However, just minutes after posting the scathing note, she immediately took it down and claimed someone else had written it.

"Fake news !!! That was not me on my phone !!!" she then shared on X. "I love Halsey and that's why I deleted it 🌹 !!!"

She has also yet to rejoin Instagram.

Halsey swiftly responded on X, writing, "and I love Britney!!!!"

"I always have and always will 💕 you were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired. And you continue to inspire me everyday."

In the referenced music video, Halsey, 29, plays a pop star resembling Spears, even going as far as wearing a full-body crystal suit resembling the latter's famous "Toxic" look.

To the public, Halsey's character is known as a successful singer with little girls dreaming of becoming them one day.

However, behind closed doors, they deal with relationship issues and undisclosed health problems — similar to the "Without You" singer's real-life situations.

Throughout the video and lyrics of "Lucky," Halsey (seen in the video here) sings about the struggles they experienced behind closed doors. Halsey/YouTube "I shaved my head four times because I wanted to/ And then I did it one more time 'cause I got sick," Halsey, pictured standing in the "Lucky" video, sings. Halsey/YouTube

Halsey recently revealed that they'd been diagnosed with Lupus and a rare T-cell disorder. At the time, they shared photos undergoing intravenous treatment — much like the visuals in the video.

"I shaved my head four times because I wanted to/ And then I did it one more time 'cause I got sick," they sing on the song, which sampled Spears' hit 2000 track of the same name.

"I left the doctor's office full of tears/ Became a single mom at my premiere/ And I told everybody I was fine for a whole damn year/ And that's the biggest lie of my career."

Reps for Halsey and Spears did not immediately respond to Page Six's requests for comment.

As seen in the above still from the "Lucky" video, Halsey also physically shows themself dealing with illness. Halsey/YouTube Halsey, pictured getting bloodwork in her "Lucky" music video here, was diagnosed with Lupus and a rare T-cell disorder. They announced the news in June. Halsey/YouTube

It's unclear which part of the video Spears took issue with. However, many fans suggested Spears was not aware of the "Closer" singer's health issues and misconstrued the message.

"Did she watch the video? It's about how Halsey and the little girl are not so different even though she's a star," one X user wrote. "Does she mean the 'shaved my hair four times line'? That was about Halsey shaving her hair because of cancer but maybe Britney thought it was a dig at her."

"that's just a huge misunderstanding because the music video is about halsey herself and her fight against leukemia," another added.

Halsey, seen posing in their "Lucky" video, previously claimed Spears approved of their request to sample "Lucky." Halsey/YouTube "I wrote her the longest, sappiest, stan letter of all time and she was soooo nice," Halsey, seen again in their new video, tweeted. Halsey/YouTube

"I can see why Britney would see it as a 'dig' or feel exploited," a third added.

"There are definitely references to Britney and her likeness but I don't think @halsey had ill intent. This misunderstanding could've been avoided if the MV had been explained/shown to her. Someone better FIX THIS."

Halsey previously tweeted that Spears personally approved her request to sample "Lucky."

"I wrote her the longest, sappiest, stan letter of all time and she was soooo nice," they recalled.

Britney Spears Denies Posting Statement Threatening Halsey With Legal Action

On Friday, Halsey unveiled her new single "Lucky," which samples Britney Spears' 2000 song of the same title and Monica's 1997 hit "Angel Of Mine." She shared a music video, and Spears reacted to it on X with a since-deleted tweet saying she felt "harassed, violated, and bullied."

"For obvious reasons I'm very upset about the Halsey video," the 42-year-old pop veteran wrote. "I feel harassed, violated, and bullied. I didn't know an artist like her and someone I looked up to and admired would illustrate me in such an ignorant way by tailoring me as a superficial pop star with no heart or concern at all."

"I have my own health problems which is why I took down my IG account yesterday. I will definitely be putting it back up to show I CARE," she continued continued. "I'm speaking with my lawyers today to see what can be done on this matter. It feels illegal and down right cruel."

Halsey's Gia Coppola-directed music video depicts herself as a famous pop star who privately struggles with her health. Halsey recently revealed she had been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. A rep for Spears previously said Spears heard the song and gave her blessing.

Spears deleted the tweet and posted another, claiming it had been "fake news" and "that was not me on my phone." She added, "I love Halsey and that's why I deleted it !!!" Halsey responded, "I love Britney!!!! I always have and always will you were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired. And you continue to inspire me everyday."

Britney Spears, Halsey clear the air after ‘Lucky’ music video controversy

Britney Spears and Halsey have put to rest all rumors of a feud after Spears initially called out Halsey over her new Lucky music video.

Spears posted a since-deleted message on X (formerly Twitter) stating," "For obvious reasons I'm very upset about the Halsey video."

"I feel harassed, violated, and bullied. I didn't know an artist like her and someone I looked up to and admired would illustrate me in such an ignorant way by tailoring me as a superficial pop star with no heart or concern at all," she noted in her since-deleted post.

Spears continued, "I'm speaking with my lawyers today to see what can be done on this matter. It feels illegal and down right cruel."

However, Spears quickly deleted the post, claiming that it was fake news" and not written by her.

"I love Halsey and that's why I deleted it !!!" she wrote in a follow-up post.

Halsey also responded with a heartfelt message, saying "I love Britney!!!! I always have and always will... you were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired. And you continue to inspire me every day."

The controversy surrounded Halsey's music video, which features her navigating the complexities of fame, similar to Spears' original Lucky video.

Halsey had previously shared that Spears gave her "blessing" for the track.
