Kanye West is not around for his 4 children anymore

Kim Kardashian is reportedly raising her four children without the support of Kanye West, their father, as the controversial rapper continues to focus on his career and his rumored divorce from Biana Censori.

West and Kardashian began in a relationship from 2012 and went on to have four kids together, North (2013), Saint (2015), Chicago (2018) and Psalm (2019), with the latter two via surrogacy methods.

Yet their love did not last forever and in January 2021, Kim K filed for divorce on the grounds of "irreconcilable differences" and agreed joint custody, with the split being finalized in November 2022, as West was ordered to pay $200,000 in monthly child support as well as 50% of other expenses.

They have never managed to fix their issues and since then, the 44-year-old mother has become increasingly worried for her children's wellbeing when they visit their father due to his erratic nature, inappropriate political views and fashion choices of his current wife.

But now she has had those concerns seemingly ended, although not in the most ideal way, as PEOPLE reports the 47-year-old dad is no longer around very much leaving her to pick up the burden.

"Kanye is sadly not around very much," an insider said. "She's pretty much a single mom. Although she has help, it is still a lot of work for her to balance and coordinate everything.

"Kim's life is around her kids' schedules. When they are in school, she works. When they are off, she's very much focused on being a mom. [She] is not even dating anyone now. It's all about work and the kids."

As per their divorce settlement, in which West pays $2.4 million per year in support from his $400m net worth, they will attend mediation in order to iron out disputes and disagreements over parenting decisions.

Kardashian also owns custody of their children for 80% of the time. Over the week, that amounts to around 5.5 days and across the year, that totals up to 292 days with their mom and just 73 with their dad.
