Britney Spears’s older son Sean gives good news to singer: Deets inside

Britney Spears's older son Sean gives good news to singer: Deets inside

Britney Spears is over the moon after her older son, Sean Preston promised that he will visit her soon.

A source told Life & Style magazine that the Toxic hit-maker was happy after her reunion with her 18-year-old son Jayden James Federline over Christmas at the end of last year.

The source mentioned that Britney "would love to have Sean join them too but she at least video call with him and he's promised to visit soon".

Therefore, the source noted that the songstress is taking that as a ''win".

Another source revealed that it was James' wish to spend the holidays in California and Britney said that she never begged him or bribed him.

Britney, who shares two sons with former husband Kevin Federline, previously spent her Christmas without her sons. So for now spending it with Jayden it was "more than a relief" for her.

Another insider opened up that there's no bad intention behind Jayden's visit to his mother.

"Anyone saying he's doing this because he's after her money can go jump in the lake as far as she's concerned," pointed out an insider.

The source explained, "She's already made it clear to both her boys they can literally have anything they want, so they don't need to manipulate her to get anything, she loves sharing her wealth with them."

Recalling her time with Jayden in December 2024, the insider shared Britney's feelings about her son's comeback. It was a dream come true for the singer.

The source further said that the singer was "not thinking about what she missed out on, her heart is full" after Jayden's reunion.

"This is the happiest anyone has seen her in years, she got her Christmas wish and then some," added an insider.

Sam Asghari reveals the secrets of his marriage to Britney Spears: "Worst experience of my life"

It is already a trend that relationships that end do not end on the best terms, that is a reality. On this occasion Sam Asghari recalled his experience with Britney Spears, and it was not entirely surprising, as the singer has earned a bad reputation in recent years.

Of course, Sam already knew that his marriage with Britney would be a challenge for him. He told Kate and Oliver Hudson's'Sibling Rivalry' podcast:

"One day I started learning about guardianship and I was like, 'Wait a minute. I thought I was in the United States. How come someone over 18 needs their parents' permission? It was the most difficult and strange spiral I have ever experienced in my life.

A tremendous confession from Asghari, the 30-year-old actor did not hesitate to make this revelation, but don't be too shocked, because there's more...

Sam harbors no hatred or resentment and can only offer his unconditional support in the difficult times that the singer may experience.

And the reality is that it is... the 30-year-old actor has always been there to support and help one of the latest cases in the "Free Britney" movement as she fought to free herself from the shackles of a very harsh conservatorship ordered by the judge who ruled over every aspect of her life for 13 years and led by her father, Jamie Spears.

Britney Spears was under conservatorship from 2008 to 2021. Sam Asghari commented on the same podcast that the hardest part of being in entertainment is dealing with family and close friends who take advantage of you and cause emotional damage because of the vulnerability you have with them.

Although they are no longer engaged, Sam has a lot of respect and affection for Britney, and although his experience was not the healthiest, he will continue to support her at all times in her life.

Britney Spears intervenes to help Wendy Williams escape 'abusive' conservatorship, claims source

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former daytime talk show anchor Wendy Williams has been asking for assistance to leave her court-ordered guardianship as it has reached a breaking point.

According to well-known gossip influencer Janet Charleston, pop singer Britney Spears was drawn to Williams' heartfelt appeal, so the pop sensation intervened and took action.

Spears wasted no time in contacting the lawyer who assisted her in ending her conservatorship, and the attorney is now preparing to help Williams in every way he can.

Pop sensation Britney Spears, who herself endured a protracted conservatorship struggle, has contacted Wendy Williams who alleged she is being mistreated under a court-ordered guardianship.

Williams, 60, recently revealed on the 'The Breakfast Club' podcast that she was being held against her will and subjected to emotional abuse and asking her followers to support her.

"I am not cognitively impaired, you know what I'm saying? But I feel like I'm in prison," Williams said, voicing her annoyance and pleading with her followers for support.

"Do I seem that way, God—n it?" she insisted when host Charlamagne Tha God brought up rumors regarding her mental health. "This is what is called emotional abuse," she continued, per Page Six.

The former TV anchor, who had made millions of dollars from her talk show, claimed that she was only left with $25 during her conservatorship.

Spears reportedly took immediate notice of Williams' situation following her successful court struggle against a conservatorship and contacted the same lawyer who was instrumental in her conservatorship's termination.

Popular gossip influencer Janet Charleston has claimed that Spears' legal expert has begun to get ready to help Williams and find out the specifics of her guardianship, per AceShowbiz.

People who are familiar with both circumstances are concerned about the comparisons to Spears' own previous conservatorship experience.

There has been uncertainty concerning Williams' guardianship. Williams' previous attorney speculated that she might not have fully comprehended the guardianship's ramifications at the time it was established.

According to a complaint filed with the Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, the legality and ethics of the processes were called into doubt when Williams' bank, Wells Fargo, acted on a letter from a doctor without her knowledge or agreement.

Williams has been trying to regain her freedom with the help of Spears and growing popular support. Although the narrative is still in its early stages, there is fresh optimism that Williams will eventually achieve the independence she desires.

Insiders worry Wendy Williams is being exploited in conservatorship similar to Britney Spears

Wendy Williams willingly took up court-ordered guardianship in 2022 to protect her finances while dealing with several medical conditions, such as Graves' disease and lymphedema.

However, Williams and insiders now express concern that her court-appointed guardian Sabrina Morrissey is exploiting and taking advantage of the former talk show host, similar to Britney Spears.

A person familiar with the matter said, "They've taken everything from her."

Both celebrities talked about being forced into mental health institutions. Williams told 'The Breakfast Club' listeners that she feels like she is "in prison," and Spears told a Los Angeles court in 2021 that she was given a lot of psychiatric medications when she was there, per Page Six.

While Spears, 43, claimed in court that her phone, credit card, cash, and passport had been confiscated, Williams told listeners that she is unable to contact her family since she does not have access to a modern telephone, laptop, or tablet.

Both stars called their legal circumstances "abusive," with the singer of 'Toxic' even going so far as to liken being "forced" to labor to being a victim of sex trafficking.

In the radio broadcast, Williams said how she felt "trapped" ever since a New York judge placed her under guardianship in 2022. She said, "My life is f–ked up," as she began to cry.

Similar to this, Spears acknowledged that she had lied to "the whole world" about being "happy" while in reality crying "every day" during the 13 years that her now-estranged father, Jamie Spears, had her under conservatorship.

The judge ultimately decided in Spears' favor, releasing her later in 2021 and stating that her conservatorship, which had been in place since 2008 after a well-publicized public breakdown, was "no longer required."

Following the podcast, a GoFundMe page called 'Support Wendy Williams' Fight for Independence' went up. Using the hashtag #FreeWendy, it has raised almost $43,327 of its $50,000 target at the time of writing.

Sam Asghari on Ex-Wife Britney Spears, Most Difficult Part of Their Marriage

Sam Asghari opens up about his marriage to Britney Spears on Kate and Oliver Hudson's 'Sibling Revelry' podcast, revealing that the 'weirdest' and 'most ridiculous' part of their relationship was her conservatorship. Britney's 13-year conservatorship ended in 2021, a year before the couple married. In 2023, Sam filed for divorce, ending their one-year marriage.

Sam Asghari breaks silence on ‘learning’ about ex Britney Spears’ conservatorship

Sam Asghari recalls getting shocked upon "learning" about ex Britney Spears' conservatorship battle when the former couple started dating initially.

Speaking on the Sibling Revelry podcast with Kate and Oliver Hudson on January 27, Asghari reflected on his disbelief over the situation.

"One day I started learning about what the conservatorship is and things like that," he shared.

"And that's when I was like, 'Wait a minute.' I thought, 'I'm in America, what do you mean somebody doesn't have their basic human [rights]? What do you mean someone over the age of 18 needs permission from their parents?'"

Asghari, who immigrated from Iran as a child, admitted that he was unfamiliar with the complexities of the American legal system at the time.

However, he wasn't alone in his confusion, as many others were only beginning to understand Spears' legal restrictions.

The pop star, now 43, was placed under a conservatorship by her father, Jamie Spears, in 2008. The arrangement remained in place for over a decade before being terminated by a judge in November 2021.

"It's such a ridiculous thing in this country to have to deal with," Asghari continued. "That was by far — I'm not going to say it was difficult because I don't think anything is difficult — but it was the weirdest thing to deal with."

The model and actor also touched on the challenges of navigating personal relationships in the entertainment industry, particularly when it comes to trust.

"Everything that happens and everybody that comes into your life that has taken advantage that damages you," he noted. "Because those are the people who are closest to you."

While many celebrities might fear scrutiny from fans or the media, Asghari argued that the real concerns often stem from those in their inner circle.

"[The fans] will never hurt you. Usually, [it's] the people that are around you, the people you allow into your inner circle," he explained. "You are vulnerable to them and they've taken advantage because they think you owe something to them — which is so ridiculous."

Asghari and Spears first met on the set of her 2016 music video for Slumber Party and began dating shortly after. Reflecting on those early days, he recalled having to tread carefully when it came to discussing Spears' legal situation, as he was just her boyfriend at the time.

His priority, he said, was to provide Spears with unwavering support.

Britney Spears' Ex-Husband Reveals the 'Weirdest Thing' About Their Marriage

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Sam Asghari opened up about navigating a challenging relationship –– specifically when it came to his seven-year romance with pop icon Britney Spears.

Reflecting on his time with the singer, Asghari, 30, recently described their relationship as a "crash course in Hollywood," with the most unexpected hurdle being her conservatorship.

Speaking candidly on the Sibling Revelry podcast with Kate and Oliver Hudson on Monday, January 27, Asghari opened up about how he initially struggled to understand the reality of Spears' legal situation.

"That's when I was like, 'Wait a minute. I thought I'm in America. What do you mean?'" Asghari recalled, referring to the revelation that Spears, who was over the age of 18, needed her father Jamie Spears' approval for major life decisions. Coming from Iran at the age of 12, the model found it difficult to comprehend how such restrictions could be imposed in the United States, calling it "the weirdest thing to deal with."

Asghari also expressed frustration over how some people took advantage of their proximity to the songstress, saying, "They take an advantage because they think you owe something to them, which is so ridiculous. That was the most difficult and weird spiral thing that I've witnessed in my life ever."

The duo first crossed paths in 2016 on the set of Spears' music video for "Slumber Party" where he was cast as Spears' love interest. They began dating shortly after filming wrapped and went public with their relationship in 2017.

Asghari and Spears announced their engagement in September 2021 and married nearly a year later in June 2022. But the union lasted only 14 months, as the couple announced their separation in August 2023, with the dancer filing for divorce a month later. The split followed an intensely scrutinized period of their lives, including Spears' public battle for freedom from her conservatorship, which was finally terminated in November 2021 after 13 years.

Their divorce was finalized on December 2, 2024, which was also Spears' 43rd birthday. For her birthday, the "Stronger" hitmaker took to her Instagram with a video of herself saying, "I'm turning 5 this year. I'm turning 5 years old, and I have to go to kindergarten tomorrow." In the same video, she stated she has moved to Mexico, though it is unclear if the '00s star has actually relocated.

Sam Asghari reveals the ‘weirdest thing’ about Britney Spears marriage: ‘So ridiculous’

Sam Asghari has opened up about his ill-fated marriage to Britney Spears, saying her conservatorship was the "weirdest thing" he was forced to confront.

The actor, 30, admitted that he initially expected the "Toxic" hitmaker's colossal fame to be the biggest obstacle he would have to deal with.

"One day I start learning about what the conservatorship is, and that's when I was like, 'Wait a minute. I thought I'm in America. What do you mean someone over the age of 18 needs permission from their parents?'" Asghari said on Kate and Oliver Hudson's "Sibling Rivalry" podcast.

"That was the most difficult and weird spiral thing that I've witnessed in my life."

The "Can You Keep a Secret?" actor said the "best thing" he could do for the singer, 43, at the time was to support her.

"I think the best thing to do is to provide support in that moment and that's what I did, I provided as much as I could," he said.

"This was my experience in life that I had to go through very gently because if you do anything wrong, you say the wrong thing…"

Indeed, Asghari supported the mom of two during the "Free Britney" movement as she fought to be released from the shackles of a harsh court-mandated conservatorship that controlled every aspect of her life for 13 years and had been spearheaded by her father, Jamie Spears.

Spears was in a conservatorship from 2008 until its termination in November 2021.

"One of the hardest things, I think, to deal with when you go into entertainment is your parents and the people around you, and everything that happens, and everybody that comes into your life that's taken advantage — that damages you because those are the people that are closest to you," Asghari continued.

"Usually, the people that are around you, the people that you allow into your circle, you kind of are vulnerable to them."

Selena Gomez Leads Casting Rumours For Britney Spears Biopic

The Britney Spears biopic is going ahead and cast rumours are coming in hot. The film, based on Britney's autobiography, The Woman In Me, is currently on the hunt for its star, and some major names are being floated for the part. Apparently, Selena Gomez, star of Oscars frontrunner Emilia Perez, is high on the preference list. An insider said Gomez is someone "Britney loves as a person and an artist", also bringing her lived experience as a child star to the role.

The film is being directed by Wicked auteur Jon M. Chu, who has been building a close relationship with Britney behind the scenes. "She's going to be very involved," Chu told Entertainment Tonight. "I haven't really started anything fully yet, but she will be very involved in this. I have ideas and things, an approach, but it's very, very early." The director also conceded that he's "seen all the fan casting", which had Addison Rae and Tate McRae among the frontrunners. "I've seen all the fan casting, and I always take those into consideration because maybe there's a good idea out there, but we'll have to see. We'll have to see what the approach of the movie is."

In November 2024, Chu confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that a script had not been written yet. Despite the production being in its very early stages, the rumour mill is already ticking over with who should be cast to play Britney Spears—with several actresses and popstars throwing their hats into the ring.

Who Will Play Britney Spears In Her Biopic?

Here, a complete list of Britney casting rumours.

An insider told Life & Style that Selena Gomez was a top choice for the role of Britney—as nominated by Britney herself. "She's someone Britney loves as a person and as an artist, she thinks she's mighty talented and knows she'd also have her own history as a child star to draw on, which would make things easier," the source said.

Gomez, who is fresh off a major role in Oscar-nominated Emilia Perez, plus her award-winning turn in Only Murders In The Building, is said to be switching gear from her pop career and beauty entrepreneurship to focus on acting. Could the stars align for a Britney biopic?

The same insider who shared Britney's preference for Selena, also said the Toxic singer would love to see Natalie Portman play her on the big screen. "Britney adores Natalie Portman and thinks she's such an incredible actress, she'd love to see her cast and thinks with the right make-up artist she could easily be transformed," they said.

Fans continue to nominate pop stars for the role of Britney, but Addison Rae continues to be a favourite—and not only because we know she's a killer dancer. Like Britney, Rae was born in Louisiana, so she should have the singer's accent in the bag. The 'Diet Pepsi' singer's fashion choices also have fans convinced she's campaigning for the role.

Tate McRae's name has also been thrown into the mix, with fans remarking on her resemblance to the Princess of Pop. However, when asked to comment on the casting rumours, McRae said: "I haven't really gotten into acting, really. Maybe in the future. I think it's a very high standard to step up to. It's hard to recreate Britney Spears. People have such precious memories of their idols that those things are really hard to recreate. I don't know if I want to play that. The person who does play it has to be a really brilliant actor."

The Stranger Things star has said she'd love to play Britney Spears. "I wanna play a real person, and I think for me, it would be Britney Spears," she said on The Drew Barrymore Show. "Her story resonates with me. Growing up in the public eye. Watching her videos, watching interviews when she was younger … I see the scramble for words."

At the time, Spears did not take kindly to the talk about her film, writing on Instagram: "I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life … dude I'm not dead!!!"

Meanwhile, back in 2022, fans confused Brown for Spears during a TV appearance in 2022. The resemblance is certainly uncanny.

Britney Spears stays 'drama-free' to maintain bond with sons

Britney Spears is making a conscious effort to keep her life calm and drama-free for the sake of her sons.

According to a source, Spears had a "dream come true" Christmas with Jayden this year and is now making plans to rebuild her relationship with him and his brother Sean Preston.

"Britney is on cloud nine right now, for years Christmas has been more of a sad reminder of the sorry state of her relationship with her kids, so to be able to spend it with Jayden is more than a relief," the insider told Life & Style.

They continued, "She would have loved to have had Sean join them too but they did at least video call with him and he's promised to visit soon, so Britney is taking that as a win."

The source further shared that Jayden chose to spend the holiday with Spears, and she didn't have to "beg him or bribe him" to do so.

"Anyone saying he's doing this because he's after her money can go jump in the lake as far as she's concerned. She's already made it clear to both her boys they can literally have anything they want, so they don't need to manipulate her to get anything, she loves sharing her wealth with them," they added.

However, the insider added that Spears knew if she wanted "more time" with both boys, she had to "keep things calm and drama-free."

Britney Spears Offers Support to Wendy Williams in Guardianship Battle

Pop icon Britney Spears has reportedly reached out to support former daytime talk show host Wendy Williams in her fight to end her court-ordered guardianship. This news comes just days after Wendy's niece announced that an attorney had been retained to challenge the legal arrangement.

    A Shared Struggle

Britney Spears is no stranger to legal battles over personal freedom. After spending more than 13 years under a highly publicized conservatorship, Britney successfully regained her independence in 2021 with the help of a dedicated legal team. Now, insiders claim the pop star is determined to assist Wendy in her own battle.

According to reports from Janet Charlton, Britney first attempted to intervene in Wendy's case back in February 2024, but her efforts did not gain traction. However, Wendy's recent podcast appearances, in which she claimed she was being held against her wishes and pleaded for public support, reignited Britney's determination to help.

Advertisement Legal Support from a Trusted Ally

Britney has reportedly connected Wendy's team with the attorney who played a pivotal role in ending her own conservatorship. Sources say the lawyer is now looking into the specifics of Wendy's guardianship case to determine how best to assist.

"While no one knows the exact reason the conservatorship was approved in the first place, Brit and her legal eagle are determined to get some answers and help Wendy as much as they possibly can," insiders revealed.

This partnership could bring a fresh perspective and renewed momentum to Wendy's legal battle.

    Wendy's Plea for Help

Wendy's guardianship has been the subject of ongoing controversy and scrutiny. While the exact reasons behind the arrangement remain unclear, Wendy has publicly decried her situation, likening it to imprisonment. In recent podcast interviews, she described feeling trapped and called on her fans for support, stating:

"I am not cognitively impaired. I feel like I am in prison."

Her niece, Alex Finnie, has been a vocal advocate, recently retaining legal counsel to challenge the guardianship. A GoFundMe campaign titled "Support Wendy Williams' Fight for Independence" was also launched, raising funds to cover legal expenses.

Britney and Wendy: A United Front?

Both Britney Spears and Wendy Williams have been iconic figures in their respective industries, but their struggles with personal autonomy have taken center stage in recent years. Britney's decision to step in could amplify attention on Wendy's case and potentially pave the way for significant legal progress.

For fans of both stars, this collaboration represents a powerful statement about resilience, mutual support, and the fight for independence. As Britney and Wendy join forces, all eyes will be on how their efforts unfold in court and beyond.

    A New Chapter?

While it's too soon to predict the outcome of Wendy Williams' guardianship battle, Britney Spears' involvement could mark a turning point. With her own hard-won victory as a precedent, Britney's support may bring hope to Wendy as she navigates this challenging chapter of her life.

As the story develops, fans and advocates alike will be eagerly awaiting updates on this unexpected yet meaningful alliance.

Britney Spears still can’t get over after Christmas reunion with son Jayden

Britney Spears is over the moon after years for her Christmas reunion with son Jayden.

A source spilled to Life & Style magazine that the Toxic hit-maker "is on cloud nine right now," because for last few years, she spent her Christmas alone without her children.

So, now when she was able to spend this Christmas with her son, she felt relieved.

The source mentioned that it was "Jayden's choice" to come spend the holiday with Britney.

However, another insider revealed that the Crossroads star "didn't have to beg him or bribe him" to do so.

The source further said that Britney would have loved to had her another son, Sean Preston joined them but "they did at least video call with him and he's promised to visit soon, so Britney is taking that as a win".

There had been speculations that Jayden came to Britney because of money but an insider opened up that the singer made it clear to her sons that they could have anything they wanted so no need to "manipulate her to get anything".

Reflecting on holidays with her son, Britney gave a lot of gifts to Jayden and they enjoyed a "big dinner and watched movies," shared an insider.

"It was a dream come true," stated a source.

But the source noted that the "only thing that would have made it better is to have Sean there".

An insider added that Britney's heart is full after spending time with Jayden.

"This is the happiest anyone has seen her in years, she got her Christmas wish and then some," concluded an insider.
