Sam Asghari Reveals If He'll Marry Again After Britney Spears Divorce

    • Sam Asghari isn't ruling out marriage in his future.

    The fitness trainer, 31, told TMZ that he was still open to the idea of marriage despite calling it quits with ex-wife Britney Spears, whom he filed for divorce from in 2023.

    A reporter asked Asghari, who had been walking in L.A. with his girlfriend Brooke Irvine, if they were planning to "get engaged anytime soon," to which he responded, "Maybe, yeah, maybe."

    When asked if there had been conversations between him and the real estate agent about a potential engagement, the fitness trainer admitted, "Yeah."

    "Life is about living and experiencing and enjoying," he added. 

    The Traitors contestant initially debuted his relationship with Irvine during the amfAR Las Vegas benefit in November 2024 and told PEOPLE on the red carpet that he was "absolutely" ready to move on from his divorce.

    "You just got to keep it positive," Asghari said at the time. "You got to stay grounded and understand what the truth is and really just live with that rather than other people's opinions or anything like that."

    Asghari and Irvine then took their relationship Instagram official at the start of 2025. The fitness model posted a series of photos embracing Irvine at various locations with the caption, "Happy New Year to All."

    Before finding love with Irvine, Asghari was in a relationship with Spears for seven years. He previously told PEOPLE in a statement that he would always "always have love for her," despite their split, and wished her the best in the future.

    In response to Spears saying their previous marriage "felt like a fake distraction" and calling their time together "the hardest years of my life" in an August Instagram post, he told PEOPLE, "Our marriage was very real to me."

    "It may have been short, but we were together for seven years. I was in love with her, will always have love for her, and wish her the best always," he added. 

    Asghari filed for divorce on Aug. 16, 2023, after 14 months of marriage. The former couple did not have any children together, but the actor was previously vocal about wanting to be a dad with Spears. Their divorce was finalized in May 2024.

    The "Toxic" singer was previously married to Jason Allen Alexander and Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston.
