Britney spent Christmas with her son(Image: Instagram)Britney Spears has slammed her family in a new post after spending Christmas with one of her sons this year. The singer took to her Instagram page on Sunday to share a scathing message to her estranged family.
The 44-year-old shared an image of a decorated holiday tree and added a sarcastic note referencing family members. She wrote: "Merry late Christmas to my beautiful family who have never disrespected me, harmed me, ever done anything completely unacceptable or caused unbelievable trauma, the kind you can't fix."
Britney, who spent this Christmas with one of her two sons, 19-year-old Jayden, added: "To my dear sweet innocent family … so so sorry I was busy this Christmas but I will definitely show up and surprise you soon … I can't wait."

A source told People that Britney loved being with her son this festive season, saying: "Britney had a fun time celebrating Christmas with Jayden. It's been such a special holiday."
Britney's older son Sean, 20, reportedly had to stay in Louisiana due to a work obligation so he spent the holidays with his aunt's family and his grandmother.
Britney has been open about the difficult relationship she has had with her family members over the years after her 13-year conservatorship that ended in November 2021.
She welcomed he r two sons during her brief marriage to Kevin Federline which ended after three years in 2007. Britney's Christmas plans come as she is thought to be considering a move to the UK.
It's been said that the star has fears that her family is planning to 'stage an intervention' when it comes to the troubled celeb.
The Baby One More Time hitmaker is said to be feeling under "huge pressure" in her home of California and is considering a new place to call home.
Now, according to reports in The Sun, one of the driving forces behind a potential move across the water is Britney's fears that her father Jamie and sons Sean Preston and Jayden James could be plan ning some kind of intervention.
They also claim family members have said they'd like to connect the star with professional medical care to get the help she needs. According to The Sun, Britney has said she "wants to live in England".
They added: "Britney has been telling those around her that a foreign move or step away from LA might be nice soon. London would be her dream move."
