Kim Kardashian Reveals That She Purchased Britney Spears' Bob Mackie Crystal Bra, but She Hasn't Told the Pop Star Yet

Kim Kardashian sat down with sister Khloé Kardashian for a two-part episode on the Khloe in Wonderland podcast

During their chat, Kim and Khloé talked about Kim's "obsession" with buying celebrity-owned and worn fashion items at auction

The SKIMS co-founder, 45, shared that she recently bought an item that belonged to Britney Spears, who she spent time with last month

Kim Kardashian says she simply "loves an auction."

The SKIMS co-founder, 45, sat down with sister Khloé Kardashian for the second part of their conversation on the Khloé in Wonderland podcast, where the sisters talked about unknowingly bidding against each other in an auction for a bible that belonged to their late father, Robert Kardashian, that he had given to OJ Simpson.

Khloé asked Kim when she developed an "obsession with auctions," which prompted the mom of four to explain, "I just I love an auction. I love the energy. I love... I think it's like a piece of history."

"I have an entire Bob Mackie collection of Cher's clothes from The Sonny and Cher Show. The ones where she did this video on flipping her hair... I won every single piece at the last big auction."

"You know what I have? I have the Britney Spears Bob Mackie crystal bikini top, with the Dolce and Gabbana jeans! She wore the jeans with the crystal over... I forgot I have that."

The four-piece set was worn by Spears, 44, for her 2001 Dream Within a Dream Tour. That November, one night of the tour was broadcast as an HBO concert special. The bra, undergarments and armbands are all French wirework, backed with a blush fabric, to create a nude illusion.

"Have you told her?" Khloé asked, referencing the fact that the two sisters had hung out with Spears last month.

"No," she admitted, to which Khloé replied, "That's crazy, you should tell her!"

Spears performed in the bra and armbands while singing her first-ever hit, "Baby One More Time..." for the special. She wore the full four-piece set with jeans in promotional photos, as well. The set sold for an astonishing $78,000 at Bold Luxury: The Limelight Edit by Julien's Auctions in late March 2025, while the jeans — a reproduction of the pair Spears wore — went for $2,925.

"I also wonder how people feel," Kim began. Khloé then cut her off by pointing out Kim wore a vintage Janet Jackson piece to see her in concert. Finishing Kim's thought, Khloé continued, "I think it's amazing, but I wonder if they, like, are like, I want that s--t back."

"I did tell TJ when I bought his uncle Michael's jacket and I gave it to North," Kim noted, saying he was ultimately "happy" that she had it rather than a stranger.

As for collecting the items, among which she also mentioned pieces from Elizabeth Taylor's archive, "I think certain people... I don't know. Like, I don't know how this stuff gets in the hands of the auctions."
