Insiders Allege Which of Britney Spears’ Sons Will Be ‘Responsible’ for Her Recovery After DUI

After Britney Spears' DUI arrest on March 4, many wondered how her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, would be there to help her. Her rep revealed they'd help her get help, and one of her sons was even pictured parking in front of her home, seemingly to check up on her, but which son will be "responsible" for taking care of her? Well, neither.

Insiders told Rob Shuter of his Naughty But Nice Substack that while both Jayden and Sean will help her along the way, they recognize it isn't their responsibility to heal her.

One insider said, "They love their mom, but they're not going to be responsible for her. That's simply not their role…They hope she gets help, but this is something Britney has to do for herself."

Another inside source added, "They've already carried a lot growing up. They want their mom to be healthy, but they can't fix this for her."

"This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable," her rep said to People. "Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time."

"Her boys are going to be spending time with her," they added. "Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being."
