Former Disney star Demi Lovato and pop star Britney Spears are set to be the newest judging faces on The X Factor replacing sacked Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.

The ‘Skyscraper’ musician, who was first linked with the panel earlier this month, will attend Fox’s upfronts presentation for an official announcement Monday morning (May 14), according to TMZ.

Spears, 30, will be in New York as well to announce she joining the show.

Lovato, 19, beat out Miley Cyrus, Fergie and Avril Lavigne for the vacant spots on the panel, next to the show’s founder Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.

The X Factor is due to return to Fox later this year, with initial auditions for the show’s second season already underway.
