Little did Kylie Minogue know that when she and Katie Couric sat down with Andy Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, she’d once again be put on the spot with a tough question about fellow pop diva Madonna. Last week she wound up discussing Madge’s bare breast and MDNA Tour cheerleader outfit on Fashion Police, but this time she was posed with this tricky question during Cohen’s Plead The Fifth segment: who would you say has more talent â€" Lady Gaga or Madonna? “Ooooh,” Kylie exclaimed. “You’ve gone straight for the jugular!”

So how did she answer? Let’s just say she did not plead the fifth. Watch above!

Perhaps sensing that she should toss a little good will the Material Girl’s way after dissing her cheerleader outfit last week, Kylie answered, “I’m gonna go with, just for hanging in there and still doing what she does, I’m gonna go with Madonna.”

Later, during the Watch What Happens Live after show, Kylie responded to a fan question by saying that her 2003 Body Language single “Slow” is her all-time favorite song of her 25 year music career.

But a surprising moment came up when Kylie finally discussed why she didn’t record “Toxic”, which she turned down and later became a hit for Britney Spears. “I don’t know why [I turned it down],” she said. “Stupidity? Actually, the same thing happened with ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’, where it was offered to someone else… Hey, Britney did a fantastic job. Maybe it wouldn’t have been the same with me.”

Inevitably, Kylie was also asked about her “hot model” boyfriend, Andrés Velencoso (“He’s a generally lovely, lovely guy. And he’s hot, which is a bonus!”), and whether or not she’s ever had an affair with one of her backup dancers.

Interestingly, Minogue brought up the subject of turning down recording the song “Toxic” (which later became a hit for Britney Spears). “Stupidity,” Kylie said, when asked why she turned it down. “Hey, Britney did a fantastic job. Maybe it wouldn’t have been the same with me.”
