The cast of The Walking Dead â€" Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Lauren Cohan, new addition Danai Gurira, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, and Norman Reedus â€" attend a panel for their show during 2012 Comic-Con held at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 13) in California.
During the panel, they revealed that the third season of the hit zombie thriller will premiere on October 14!
A trailer for the new season revealed that two separate narratives will be told. While Rick (Lincoln)’s people invade the prison, Andrea (Holden) and Michonne (Gurira) get captured by armed men and taken to Woodbury, where they meet the Governor (David Morrissey), according to EW. Check out the trailer below!
After the panel, the cast headed to “The Walking Dead†100th Issue Black-Carpet event powered by Hyundai and Future US at Petco Park.

Naya Rivera, Lea Michele, Jenna Ushkowitz, Cory Monteith, and Kevin McHale attend a panel for their hit television series Glee held during 2012 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 14) at the San Diego Convention Center in California.
During the panel, it was confirmed that all of the series regulars from the past season will be appearing on the show in some capacity this year, that another Britney Spears tribute will happen during the season’s second episode, and that the season will pick up three months after last season’s finale, according to TV Line.

Michelle Fairley, Carolyn Strauss, Emilia Clarke, Richard Madden, Rose Leslie, Alfie Allen, and author George R.R. Martin attend a panel for their show Game of Thrones held during 2012 Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 13) in California.
During the panel, a slew of new cast members were announced, including legendary actress Diana Rigg who will take on the role of Queen of Thorns.
“There are so many people [in the cast]. Diana Rigg is so iconic, I can’t even get over it,†Emilia told MTV. “We were at the read-through and it was one of the things where you’re listening to everyone and kind of reading along with the script, and then Diana Rigg starts talking and you’re like, ‘I’m going to watch.’ She just blew my mind, she’s incredible.â€
Later in the evening, the cast hit up HBO’s celebration party at the Wired Cafe.
