Jake Wesley Rogers took a chance on "America's Got Talent," but according to Howard Stern it was horrible.
Performing Britney Spears' "Toxic," albeit slowed down with a unique arrangement, Rogers failed to impress the judges musically Tuesday. On the other hand, his hair did impress.
"You have wonderful hair. I'm proud of your hair, but I think it's one of the most vapid songs," said Howard Stern. "I don't even think Britney Spears likes it. It was a little rough for me."
Howie Mandel followed suit agreeing with Stern.
"On the hair front you're like a Midwest Pauly D (Jersey Shore)," said Mandel. "I don't like the arrangement of that song. It became strained for me. You're going to have to do more as a singer. You're going to have to blow us away, but you may have it in you."
According to Sharon Osbourne, 15-year-old Rogers is confident and has potential.
"I have to agree with Howard but you're confident," said Osbourne. "You're very very talented. I think you have great potential. Out of the acts I've seen so far I'd put my money on you."
All of that said, Jake Rogers faces tough competition vying for one of only four spots left in the competition. Will he make it through based on his potential alone ?
"America's Got Talent" returns, with the results, Wednesday night at 9/8c on NBC.
