Simon Cowell has worked too long and hard to worry about grits and cheesecake!
Demi, Brit-Brit, and L.A. Reid nevertheless were hot under the collar when they were left twiddling their thumbs on the X Factor set while Simon made an impromptu pitstop.
“One minute Simon was on his way to the Coliseum and auditions were about to start - the next thing security was radioing over that Simon had diverted the driver and asked to go to a local diner."
We know there's TV to make, and hundreds of cast, crew, and thousands of North Carolina contestants waiting on him… but if the man wants a Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity from iHOP, what can you do??
One crew member was overheard telling a producer:
“Simon’s at a diner? Is that really what we’re waiting for? I don’t care about grits and cheesecake!â€
Brit-Brit, who has stormed off the set several hundred times already, was apparently cool with the whole thing as long as she got a taste of his leftovers, LOLz!
Reid, however, was furious Simon had the nerve to make all those people wait!
