The singer announced via her official Twitter page that she will appear on the track, which is expected to premiere later this week.
She said: "Just left the studio w/ @iamwill working #willpower. Look out 4 #reachforthestars beamed 2 earth from mars tmrw via my friend @MarsCuriosity.
"Can't wait for y'all to hear @iamwill's next single featuring me. Coming very soon. Stay tuned people...."
will.i.am recently announced that the song would premiere on the surface of Mars, after robot rover Curiosity successfully landed on the surface of the planet earlier in the month.
Spears has previously tweeted the robot, asking if the planet looks the same as it did for her music video 'Oops I Did It Again' in 2000.
The bot replied: "Hey Brit Brit. Mars is still looking good. Maybe someday an astronaut will bring me a gift, too. Drill bits crossed ;)"
