It's great to see Britney Spears back on top. After some hard years, she released her Circus album four years ago and began her successful comeback tour, culminating with the release of her critically-acclaimed Femme Fatale last year, another successful tour, and her appointment as an X Factor judge alongside Simon Cowell, LA Reid, and Demi Lovato. On top of this, she is proud mom to sons Sean and Jayden, and got engaged to her former agent Jason Trawick last December. Spears had marveled over her Neil Lane four-carat, round-cut diamond engagement ring, saying that she could not stop looking at it. Now, in a smiling Twitter tribute for her uncle's birthday, Spears exudes her happiness with her life, wearing a curve-hugging little black dress that flatters her fit, strong figure and tweeting, "Wishing my Uncle Happy Birthday..."

The dress had a crisscrossed halter top design with a seductive peephole over the pop star's cleavage. The short skirt ended at her upper thighs, with her long toned legs on full display. Spears's long blonde hair looked natural and unstyled, simply sideswept with long tendrils gracing her face, and her heart-shaped hairline revealed. She had a rich summer tan set off by the black dress and also by sky-high white platform pumps. Spears stood on a driveway, beaming widely with a gracious look, flaunting her trim arms as she rests her hands behind her back. In the background are a beautiful summer flower garden and a pond.

Britney Spears has been busy with her X Factor co-stars, promoting this season, which is due to start on September 12. She seems to be getting along famously with her fellow judges, joking with Simon Cowell about doing his makeup and praising Demi Lovato for being a tougher judge than Spears is and inspiring her to raise the bar herself, according to the Daily Mail.
