X Factor US: Britney Spears says the X Factor has been good for her - Unreality TV (blog)

August 2nd, 2012 by Anna Howell.

Despite all the tantrums, walk-outs and drama’s she has endured since accepting the job, Britney Spears has come out and said that she believes her judging role on the X Factor US has been good for her!

There were many raised eyebrows when Simon Cowell signed notoriously unstable Britney Spears as a judge on this year’s X Factor US, and it wasn’t long before the sound of a million people saying it told you so drowned out even the loudest audition, as Britney stormed off stage on her very first day on the job!

However, despite this incident being repeated almost regularly throughout the entire audition stage, the 90′s hit teen sensation, who famously shaved her own head during one of her many publicised breakdowns, has said that she thinks her new role on the show has been good for her, according to OK magazine.

Britney, who judges alongside Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, said: “I think this show has been really good for me to do because I’ve been able to help this talent come in and achieve their dream.

“I can relate to them on a central level because I started out at such a young age.

“I know the foundation and the depth of what you go through into achieving your dream and doing this. So being able to do this has been, if anything, a great experience for me.

“I really feel like being able to be on a show, where you can give back and help people achieve their dream, is just really interesting to me. It’s really different from anything I’ve ever done.”

With regards to the recent reports that she has taken over the Mr Nasty title from X Factor puppeteer, Simon Cowell, when speaking her mind to the auditioning contestants, the mum of two commented to the magazine:

“It’s kind of just based on who I am and my personality in everyday life. I’m just a very honest person.”
