It’s the diva battle as old as time (or, at least, 1999): Britney Spears vs. Christina Aguilera.
With both women’s television shows premiering last week, Facebook’s Talk Meter, a tool that measures chatter on Facebook by looking at current chatter compared to the baseline, was able to measure which singer was buzziest and EW has the exclusive results.
The takeaway points?
-Britney is currently leading Christina in mention counts on Facebook.
-Britney saw a higher spike on the night The X Factor premiered (Sept. 12), with her mentions going up 2,375%. Christina’s mentions “only† went up 450% during the premiere of The Voice (Sept. 10).
-Both Spears and X Factor scored highest among women 25-34. Aguilera and The Voice hit their peaks with women 35-44. Interestingly, both Aguilera and The Voice‘s top three demos were all women, while men were interested in Spears. Men ages 25-34 were Spears’ second-highest scorers.
-Aguilera should consider touring in North Dakota, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Delaware â€" those were the states where she was mentioned the most. The Voice was popular in North Dakota, Iowa, West Virginia, and Oklahoma (Paging Blake Shelton!).
-Spears’ next cross-country jaunt should hit Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York, Louisiana and California. Talk Meter reports that those were the buzziest states for the southern-born star. Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and California all loved The X Factor, too.
Despite the heavier buzz for the revamped X Factor, The Voice wound up having more viewers this week â€" even with Britney to contend with. It’ll be interesting to see if The Voice is able to maintain their lead. You could argue that The X Factor is slow right now because it isn’t yet live, and more people might tune in if they have the chance to see unedited Spears.

Both of them are my most favorite singers but I think britney spears is slightly better than christina. i really like her on the x factor and some of her songs but britney is better according to me.
