X Factor Reject Don Philip: “Britney Spears Didn't Care About Me Being Gay” - RumorFix (blog)

While X Factor contestant and former Britney Spears duet partner Don Philip has criticized the FOX show for “bullying” him into admitting he’s gay then editing it out, he has no hard feelings toward the pop star.

The 32 year old told RumorFix exclusively after his Wednesday performance, “Is Gay bad for FOX? I didn’t do anything bad. They edited the gay out of me.” A spokesperson for X Factor, however, told us that his sexual orientation was not relevant to the his audition.

Now the singer tells RumorFix, “This is what I have to say about Britney Spears and I now know this to be true. Britney didn’t care about me being gay. She is the least judgmental person I know. She accepts folks that accept and embrace themselves and their differences.”

The singer, who sang “I Will Love You” with Britney in 1999, goes on to say, “I will still love you Britney for always.”
