Britney Spears is squashing rumors of being unhappily married to Sam Asghari.
The pop icon shared an Instagram Reel set to "Honest" by Justin Bieber, showing off her stunning garden while posing next to Asghari under a blooming arch. She wore a red blouse with a floral print that matches the flowers outside, paired with white shorts. The clip then shows the couple making out in the garden.
"Ok so I'm proud of my flowers 🌹🌺🌸💐!!! I've been pretty modest about my home 🏡 !!! I'm redesigning my house !!! I feel so blessed to be with such an incredible husband who inspires me everyday 🥰 !!! Have a brilliant day my friends and godspeed ✨✨✨ !!!," Spears captioned the video.
A few hours after uploading the Reel, she shared a video on her Instagram Story of Asghari and one of his friends. In the clip, Asghari's friend is wearing a red hat and taking a bite out of a flower. "That's not protein, don't eat it. He thinks that's protein," said Asghari. His friend responded, "It is," while Spears is heard laughing behind the camera.
"First time hanging with one of my hubby's friends!!! My boys are at that awkward age where I haven't been able to shoot them for 4 years…@samasghari is sort of silly about it too 🙄🙄🙄😔🙁 it was cool to make contact yesterday!!!," Spears wrote on her Story.
The videos of Spears with her husband come days after sources close to the singer claimed to TMZ that their marriage is in the rocks. One source alleged that Asghari "doesn't stay at their home much anymore and it's especially alarming because of how she has come to rely on him."
The couple was first rumored to be having issues in November 2022, when many fans accused Asghari of taking advantage of Spears after he seemingly went on Instagram Live without her knowledge while next to the pop star in bed.
The next month, fans noticed that Spears' social media content seemed out of character, accusing Asghari of controlling her Instagram. In January, TMZ claimed Spears had a manic episode while out to dinner with her partner, speaking in gibberish and yelling. Asghari is said to have stormed out of the restaurant, which they both denied.
