Getty ImagesBritney Spears returns to the Billboard charts this week after something of a hiatus with her latest single, "Mind Your Business." The much-anticipated track, a collaboration with Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am, debuts on several rankings this frame, bringing both stars back to the competitive tallies once again.
"Mind Your Business" earns its highest start on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, securing the coveted No. 1 spot. This list ranks the bestselling dance and electronic tunes in the United States.
The new dance-pop single also managed a commendable position on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. The Spears/Will.I.Am collaboration enters the ranking at No. 8, sending both artists back to the top 10 on the tally, where they have already spent plenty of time.

Because the title doesn't make an appearances on the dance-specific charts that focus on streams or radio airplay, the single's strong sales were apparently more than sufficient to propel it toward the top of the dance/electronic ranking.
Somewhat surprisingly, "Mind Your Business" doesn't even beat out Spears's other current charting hit on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs tally, "Hold Me Closer" with Elton John. That song was released last summer, and is still going strong after 48 weeks on the list. This time around, it sits at No. 4, somehow performing better than her brand new release.
The impact of "Mind Your Business" transcended genre boundaries, and it makes its presence felt on the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart. This list monitors American purchasing patterns when it comes to individual tunes. The new single opens at No. 12, missing out on becoming another top 10 for the two musicians by just a few spaces.
