Britney Spears may be one of the most successful pop stars of all time, but she’s no actressâ€"and even she’s admitted that. Her lack of acting talent was made apparent in the only movie she ever made as a starâ€"and now, that film is finally coming to streaming decades after it became something of a punchline.

The oft-heckled Crossroads is headed to Netflix NFLX , reportedly hitting a streaming platform for the first time ever. The title will be playable on the global streamer starting on February 15. For the moment, it doesn’t seem to have an expiration date, though fans should watch it while they can, as these kinds of acquisitions don’t usually live on the site forever.

Netflix announced the exciting news on social media by posting the Crossroads movie poster along with a simple message: “the first movie to ever star the one and only britney spears has never been available on streaming... but that's about to change! so thrilled to announce that CROSSROADS will finally be available on netflix GLOBALLY starting february 15.”

Crossroads was not well-received when it was released in 2002, at the height of Spears’s commercial success. While the critics may have disliked it, the road trip film did perform well at the box office. Crossroads earned more than $61 million in grosses against a budget of around $11 million.

In the years since it was first released, Crossroads has gained something of a cult following. It is one of many films that have received less than stellar reviews that fans of campy, so-good-they’re-bad pictures love to flock to. Spears’s die-hard supporters also seem to enjoy the movie as well.

In October 2023, Crossroads was re-released to theaters for a limited time. The film came accompanied by a new version of the soundtrack, which featured a number of tracks from the pop star that had been reworked for a new audience. The re-release was a tie-in with Spears’s memoir The Woman In Me, which arrived on store shelves around the same time and instantly became a bestseller.

Spears has appeared in other movies throughout her career, but Crossroads remains the only project that she starred in. The singer also filmed cameos in titles like Austin Powers in Goldmember and Corporate Animals.
