The "Hit Me Baby One More Time" singer posted a sweet message about Janet on Instagram on Sunday. She posted a picture of Janet's cover art of her 1993 album, Janet, thanking the artist for " keeping" her "dreams and heart alive."
Britney captioned: "Thank you to this beautiful lady for keeping my dreams and heart alive. She's always been the deepest and brightest woman at the same time." She continued: "She went through so much but I feel she is someone I will look up to for the rest of my life. Thank you for your music and your divine way of untangling intelligence to a far more clear view than anyone could ever imagine."

Britney's now deleted post comes amid her and her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, who exposed Janet's chest at the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show, feud. Both Janet and Justin have publicly apologized to one another but Britney was left with a bad taste in her mouth after Justin shaded Britney.

It all started with Britney revealing in her memoir, The Woman in Me, that she was pregnant with Justin's baby when they were dating in 2000. She said that she had an abortion because Justin "wasn't happy" and "didn't want to be a father." She also exploited intimate details of her relationship with Justin and included allegations that both of them had cheated during their romance. The two dated from 1999 until 2002.

Even though Justin received a lot of backlash, Britney expressed her "love" for his new song Selfish in an Instagram that is now deleted. She wrote: "I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake's new song 'Selfish' It is soo good." Fans thought everything was okay with the two until Justin responded at his New York One Night Only show and said: "I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody." He then sang the 2002 hit "Cry Me a River," which is about him and Britney's breakup.
Britney responded to his fake apology and and shot back on Instagram, writing: "Someone told me someone was talking s–t about me on the streets !!! Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ??? I'm not sorry !!!"
