Britney Spears says 'being single is awesome'

Britney Spears has made it clear that she's content with her single status, despite swirling rumors suggesting a romantic reunion with ex Paul Richard Soliz.

In a recent Instagram post shared on Sunday, the 42-year-old pop icon offered a glimpse into her life, dancing joyfully and updating her 42.5 million followers about her current relationship status.

Following her estranged husband Sam Asghari's divorce filing six months ago, the "Gimme More" singer shared that she embraces her solo journey, calling herself a "hopeless romantic" who finds joy in her independence.Sporting a white floral crop top, tiny black shorts, and knee-high boots, Spears exuded happiness as she grooved around her home.

Amid speculations that she and Soliz had reignited their romance, a source claimed to Us Weekly that the pair were indeed back together, spending quality time and even embarking on road trips together.

However, rumors swirled earlier this year that Spears had ended her brief fling with Soliz after discovering his criminal past. According to DailyMail.com, the two no longer maintained any communication. Spears and Soliz's relationship began in late 2022 when he was hired for housekeeping duties at her residence. Despite his dismissal from the job, Spears continued to spend time with him, sparking curiosity about their dynamic. Soliz, who previously faced legal issues, insisted in an interview that he's turned over a new leaf and is a devoted father. He acknowledged Spears' unwavering support during his legal proceedings.

Asghari, Spears' former husband, announced their split on Instagram in August, marking the end of their six-year relationship. Before Asghari, Spears had relationships with Charlie Ebersol, David Lucado, and Kevin Federlin. She also famously had a brief marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander, along with high-profile romances with Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell.
