Britney Spears and her father Jamie Spears are not taking aback in their legal battle, the father daughter duo are going at each other recently.
Last month, they settled a previous dispute related to Jamie Spears's legal fees and management of her daughter's finances. The People reported that the issue was taken to Los Angeles Superior Court and was settled there, however the settlement clause and amount was not revealed.
The issue started back in 2021 when Britney Spears' father Jamie filed a case to end Britney's conservatorship after 13 years. Jamie said that he had enough hate surrounding her daughter's conservatorship, and the constant anger towards him from the public and her own daughter forced him to make this decision.
However, Mr. Jamie said that he wants nothing but the best for his daughter. On the other hand Britney in a hearing said "I want my life back", she also said that she was forced to use certain medications and intrauterine devices for birth control against her will. However, all this finally came to an end last month when the case was settled.
However, a new issue has transpired between the two as Jamie Spears recently filed court documents seeking a summary judgement over an issue regarding the conservatorship which dates back to 2021.

PeoplePeople reported that as per the court documents, Jamie has refused to attend a trial date which has been scheduled for May 13. The 71-year-old has asked the judge to reconsider the complaints made by her daughter, as he feels none of them are worthy of court.
The whole issue is related to compensation of Tri Star Sports & Entertainment which is Spears's former business manager, and another issue is regarding the fees of attorneys which hasn't been settled. Jamie doesn't want to be associated with all these claims, as he has left her daughter's conservatorship long back.
This is quite a tough time for the pop star as recently she was involved in a divorce settlement with her ex Sam Ashghari.
