Britney Spears showed off her bruised and swollen foot after an alleged fight with her boyfriend at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, Calif., while seemingly blaming her mom for stirring up the drama.
"I really twisted my ankle last night like an idiot — just to show proof," the "Circus" songstress said in a video posted to Instagram Thursday.
"It's so bad. F–king idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room of the Chateau and I fell — embarrassed myself — and that's it."

In a second clip, the Grammy winner seemingly started to cry while comparing her non-injured foot with the swollen one.

"Britney had a rough night and big fight but she is incredibly resilient, despite the trauma she endured during the conservatorship," a source told Page Six.
Reps for Britney weren't immediately available for comment.

The Princess of Pop has been forthcoming about the incident since Page Six confirmed that first responders were called to her hotel room Thursday around 1 a.m. local time after receiving a call about an injured woman.
She was seen in a series of snaps alongside her boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz and paramedics outside the Chateau.
While Britney insisted the injury occurred while she was attempting a leap, sources told Page Six that first responders were called following a fight with her on-and-off boyfriend.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also confirmed to Page Six that they received a call about an injured woman, though they didn't receive any specifics.
