Britney Spears’ On-Again, Off-Again Boyfriend Reportedly Served With Divorce by His Wife

Britney Spears ' seemingly on-and-off boyfriend Paul Soliz is officially going through a divorce.

Soliz's wife Nicole Mancilla filed for divorce on Wednesday after eight years of marriage, according to legal documents reviewed by TMZ . Mancilla cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split and listed June 29, 2023 as the date of separation.

Mancilla is also seeking legal and physical custody of the couple's four minor children and is asking the court to terminate to award Soliz with support.

The former couple were married in March 2015, a time in which TMZ notes that Spears was still under her conservatorship .

It's not clear when Spears and Soliz began their romance but the two made headlines after an incident at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood in May. Authorities received complaints of the 42-year-old pop singer causing a disturbance. However, upon arrival, officers found no evidence of any issues.

Spears and Soliz allegedly got into a physical argument back in their room, resulting in Spears supposedly injuring her leg and being described as "out of control" in the hotel hallway. Paramedics were called out of concern for her well-being, and when they arrived, she was seen wrapped in a blanket and appeared to be crying. She reportedly refused to go to the hospital and left with her security but without Soliz.

Spears denied the reports in a post shared to her Instagram, saying, "The news is fake !!!"

"I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed," she added.

The incident came shortly after Spears divorce from ex-husband Sam Asghari had been finalized .

In July, the singer also declared she was " single as fuck " and claimed, "I will never be with another man as long as I live" on an Instagram post. Spears and Soliz were spotted hanging out together in Malibu the following month.
