The "American Horror Story" star says playing Spears on the big screen is her "dream."
When it comes to those Britney Spears casting rumors, Emma Roberts says gimme, gimme (more).
Shortly after Universal Pictures announced it was developing a biopic based on Spears' memoir, The Woman in Me, the pop star's former longtime assistant, Felicia Culotta, told TMZ that she thought Roberts would be the perfect actress to play Spears. Though no official casting has been announced, the American Horror Story: Delicate star says she is (theoretically) 100 percent on board.
"I mean, it's my true dream to play Britney Spears," Roberts told Cosmopolitan in an interview published Aug. 29. "It's a rumor, but I hope maybe it'll come true. I mean, I remember I locked myself in my room and listened to In the Zone and said, "I cannot leave this room until I memorize every word."
