The forecast didn't call for a storm, but Rachel Zegler brought a shower of jewels when she arrived at a Variety party on Sunday night (October 6) that celebrated the brand's latest New York issue (for which she was the cover star).
Styled by Sarah Slutsky Tooley, the actor wore a dress pulled from the Dior Pre-Fall 2024 collection. The shimmering design featured a transparent black, long-sleeved top layer adorned with hundreds of teardrop-shaped jewels and tiny pearls. Think Britney Spears' unforgettable diamond look from the "Toxic" music video—but a little less naked.

Still, Tooley managed to add some sexiness to the look, putting Rachel in a black bra and matching high-waisted boy shorts underneath. This was certainly a more body-baring switch from how the dress was originally styled, with the model wearing a black slip dress when the look was sent down the runway last spring.

To complete the ensemble, Rachel rocked a pair of pointy black Jimmy Choo pumps and carried an inky Small Lady-D Joy Bag, both of which matched the undertones of her 'fit. She kept her jewelry simple, opting for dainty silver earrings from De Beers that harmonized with the embellishments on her dress. Her beauty look was also understated, as she sported a blush-colored lip and kept her hair hanging down in subtle waves.

It's been an exciting time for the celeb, who recently began her run as Juliet opposite Kit Connor in Sam Gold's modern rendition of Romeo + Juliet. This December, her satirical disaster film Y2K will also hit theaters, and following that, her highly anticipated live-action remake of Snow White will arrive in the spring of 2025. With all this in store, we'll no doubt be seeing Rachel on many red carpets to come—and thank goodness for that!
