Britney Spears has admitted she feels "blessed" as she shared details of her latest holiday with her fans on social media.

The Princess of Pop posted videos and photos on Instagram this weekend to give her followers an insight on her getaway, days after she made her final child support payment to her ex-husband Kevin Federline. The former couple, who tied the knot in September 2004 and were married for nearly three years, share sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18.

Britney had been making bi-monthly payments to her ex to help their youngest son, but US media reports have claimed that she paid the last $10,000 (£7,925) she owed him this week. And over the weekend, the "Baby One More Time" hitmaker shared details of her trip - including photos and videos of herself in bikini, a new tattoo, the sea, and a yacht.

Britney also shared a photo of a church and one of her swollen foot - and she admitted it feels like "night and day" when she is on holiday compared to when she is home in Los Angeles. The pop star, 42, also revealed the new tattoo on her neck is in Hebrew and means "healing".

She then told her 41.8 million fans on Instagram that she has been "loving nature" and "jumping into the ocean" before declaring: "I feel blessed." Britney said she also feels excited about B Tiny, her new jewellery line which she announced at the beginning of November, months after declaring she would not be returning to the music industry.

It comes after Britney's son Jayden reportedly reached out to her amid their strained relationship. A source told US Weekly that Jayden, who lives with his brother, father, stepmother Victoria Prince and his half-siblings in Hawaii, made contact with Britney while spending time in his home state of California.

The source said: "Jayden is spending time back in California but does not live with Britney. All of his friends are still in California and he wanted to come back after graduating high school. Jayden reached out to Britney and initiated conversation."

They added: "He is open to mending the relationship with his mom and seeing where things go. It's going to take time and will not be an immediate reconciliation. They have seen each other twice and [it] was very brief."

Page Six also reported about the reunion, with a source telling them: "[Britney and Jayden James] have been spending a lot of time together." Another source said: "Britney is thrilled to have her baby back. Everything is moving in the right direction."
