Britney Spears is officially single again, y'all. The pop icon and her now ex-husband, Sam Asghari, have finalized their divorce, wrapping up their short-lived marriage on Monday.

The pair first called it quits back in August 2023 after a year of swirling rumors and tense moments that hinted at trouble in paradise.

In a throwback to their meet-cute, Britney once spilled the tea during a radio interview. "I was like, 'This guy is really cute,' so I called him." The chemistry was there, and Sam's fun and funny vibes made it work—for a while.

By March 2023, whispers of tension were hard to ignore, and in the summer, Sam confirmed the breakup with a heartfelt Instagram post.
