Britney Spears Spends July 4th in Hawaii – on a Family Vacation - People Magazine

She's been working hard and traveling the country in her latest role as X Factor judge â€" but on July 4th, Britney Spears enjoyed some much-needed R&R.

The singer decamped to Hawaii for a vacation with fiancé Jason Trawick and her boys, Preston, 6, and Jayden, 5.

"Happy 4th of July from the Aloha State," she Tweeted early Thursday morning, along with the sweet family photo.

Spears, 30, has also been documenting her travels with her fellow X Factor judges. She recently Tweeted a fun picture of her with L.A. Reid, writing, "We become a little more BFF every single day..."

As for her performance on the show, Simon Cowell, who calls her "shy," says Spears has really stepped up and is thriving. "She's taken the role really seriously," he recently said.
