As if it weren't amazing enough that Britney Spears is now a member of the judges panel for the second season of X Factor, rumors are now running rampant on the pop star's fan sites that she'll not only be critiquing potential contestants come September, but that she'll be taking the stage HERSELF to debut a BRAND NEW SINGLE!
Yes! We'll repeat it again for dramatic effect: A BRAND. NEW. SINGLE!
Apparently, the reality competition's vocal producer Savan Kotecha revealed the incredible news via Twitter yesterday:
I’ve got some news on #BritFactor! If I said a performance in September, would you hold it against me? (it’s a new song, don’t panic.)
Of course, within MINUTES the post was taken down…but not before gurl's fans were able to screengrab it!
Perhaps someone didn't realize they weren't allowed to share the best news of all time quite yet?!
Not that we could blame him for wanting to fill the world in!
We're absolutely LOSING IT! We had no idea she was already preparing new music for release!
And a LIVE PERFORMANCE?!
What a PERFECT way for our Brit to remind the world that on top of her new role as judge, she is STILL a worldwide superstar…and with good reason!
