Vanilla Ice Loves Britney Spears' Dance Moves - PopCrush

A couple of days ago we showed you video of Britney Spears getting down to an audition on ‘X Factor‘ â€" a contestant decided to rap Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’ and Brit was basically loving it. Well, Vanilla Ice has seen the footage and kind of digs it.

“I love it,” said Vanilla Ice. “Simon Cowell giving her a high five? That is awesome!” Those are some pretty exquisite words coming from a former rapper, don’t you think? It’s kind of cool that he’s so into it, but then again, if Britney enjoys getting down to anything you’ve done, you’re going to enjoy it. You’re not stupid.

While Brit loved the Vanilla Ice cover, she wasn’t too keen on one contestant who covered her own track, ‘(You Drive Me) Crazy,’ to the point that she and the rest of the panel walked off the set.

“Oh, my God, it was just horrible,” said L.A. Reid, adding that Spears wasn’t the only one who left â€" he and Lovato did, too. “We just couldn’t take it anymore.”

TMZ caught up with Ice just as he was about to start production on season three of his home renovation show ‘The Vanilla Ice Project’ (clever), when he said, “Britney Spears is a legend … and she rocked out to my song? That’s fâ€"ing amazing!” We hear ya, Ice. We hear ya.
